I think the missing commentary is from the screen writer of "Dracula: Dead and Loving It". I can live without that. I think the coffin presentation is amazing looking and it was about $50 cheaper, so that was a no brainer for me.

Was yours delivered Royal Mail or DHL? I'm practically on the edge of the east coast and even have a PO box which should be a faster delivery time and I got nothing. This is bullshit. This is probably my most anticipated release ever. Fuckin' postal service, I swear to god. They couldn't deliver a letter to the clerk next to them behind the counter in a timely fashion. I really hate how Amazon.uk does not provide tracking.

That's why I occasionally pay more to buy fancy box sets locally.

I received mine from Amazon.uk on Saturday. "The Creature From The Black Lagoon" looks so awesome in 3D. It's not good enough to recommend buying a 3D TV for, but this collection is a must buy if you already have A 3D TV. So far I've watched "CFTBL", "Dracula" and "Frankenstein." Universal did a wonderful job. This is my favorite blu-ray set this year.

My Canadian set is waiting for me at home! I wonder if I'm the only person who plans on watching Phantom first, it's the only one out of this set I've yet to see.

i'd say its the least of the films contained in the set, but considering the fact that its in technicolor, its probably the most visually impressive. if/when i buy the set, i wouldn't be surprised if it were the first one i check out.

My delivery estimate is Oct. 25th :bs:

I ordered it on September 13th too. Ah well, just a bad stroke of luck I guess.

Got the Uk boxset. At 65$ shipping included in Canada, it's a great deal!

Finally got my UK coffin set in the mail today. It's much smaller than I expected it to be, but damn, this set is beautiful! Definitely one of the best, if not the best piece in my collection. I feel like a little monster kid again. Can't wait till this weekend when I can sit down with some popcorn and dig into this monster movie marathon.

The above review is taken from an Amazon.com review by Marty Gillis. Apparently there may be issues with the some of the 'Creature' discs out there. Check your discs and make sure your player's firmware is up to date.

Whoa. The 3D version of my UK disc works fine, but I haven't tried the 2D version yet. Very curious to see if this is another Star Trek S1/ Twilight Zone S1 pressing issue or a firmware issue. Universal doesn't need this headache, especially with the delay of the Hitchcock collection.

Thankfully my "CFTBL" disc doesn't freeze within the 58-1:00:00 minute mark. My experience sending my "Halloween II" bd back to Universal for the replacement wasn't a pleasant one.

More Universal fucking up, like they did with the dvd editions of Universal Monsters and the Abbott and Costello collections.

Maybe. Still no word on whether this is a disc issue or a firmware issue. I hope this doesn't scare people away from buying this set. It is truly magnificent.

Glad to hear it. I doubt I'll ever watch the 2D version since the 3D version is so well done.
