Zombie and House by the Cemetery both this fall?! Hell yes! Now if Anchor Bay would only get off their asses and start releasing shit.

Cat O'Nine Tails Blu-Ray review!: http://10kbullets.com/reviews/c/cat-o-nine-tails-blue-underground-bluray/
Good! Let them lose the rights. Then maybe their films will go to a company who will actually release them.
For anyone who missed out on the BU Blu of Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Diabolik now has about 80 copies...
I haven't been following the whole thing. Is the Blu of Bird really good? I'd probably buy that, as I do like the film. but I doubt I'll be getting Cat O'Nine Tails, as I rarely spin that one. I have the old standard-def DVD from AB, and that's enough. But Inferno was purchased, and Deep Red is on the way. Might have to watch Deep Red this weekend (unless the world ends).
After I purchased mine it said there was 49 left. I check a couple of hours later and they have already taken it off the site.
Damn...didn't think the BWCP BD would hit OOP status this quick. I knew I should have nabbed it when I had the chance, but I kept puting it off as I already own the DVD. Bah!
I bought the VCI edition of BIRD on DVD and then upgraded to the Blue Underground, but that's as far as I'm willing to go on the film. It's a great movie, but not exactly something I watch on a regular basis. Cat 'o 9 tails even less so. If I were to buy Argento on blu ray, I'd stick strictly to Deep Red, Suspiria, and maybe Phenomena and Inferno, or Opera, followed by Tenebrae.
Watched BU's Deep Red blu tonight. Solid transfer. The bit rate is low from cramming both versions of the film on a single disc rather than using seemless branching. Don't know why they chose to do it that way, but there are only a few shots where the lowered bit-rate shows itself. There does seem to be a problem with the transfer though. I notice a pronounced strobing of colors during the entire finale of the film (as soon as Hemmings returns to the psychics apartment.) It almost looks as though it is being projected through a spinning color wheel. Very odd.
