"MANHATTAN BABY! We're working on a new 2K restoration from the original negative"
I believe it when I see it.
So far, all their "new restorations" of the Italian releases, have just been old LVR transfers, filled with scanner noise.

On a completely random note, Klaus Kinski looks truly hideous with his auburn bob.

I picked up Million Eyes of Sumuru/Girl From Rio, and it's a great release, but for some reason it won't play on my computer blu ray drive, the only blu ray that has ever done this. It plays in my LG standalone blu ray player, but won't play in my LG computer blu ray drive. I can't figure out why. Has anyone else had any compatibility problems? I only ask because with my computer I get much better video quality on my TV, I use my TV as my computer monitor, and my PC with PowerDVD 15 and TrueColor gives way better image quality than my standalone blu ray player and I'd really rather watch movies on my computer/Media Center.
Could be a firmware incompatibility between your computer software and the tech on the disc. You may have to update your software.

Has anyone ordered VENOM from Amazon and has had trouble with delivery? My copy supposedly went out on Monday for delivery yesterday - never got it. Tracked it and it says "Delivery Delay" - WTF? If the USPS actually has it then why hasn't it been delivered? Now tracking says "Expected Delivery May-31-Jun 3" Double WTF. Did the package go back to Amazon???
Monday was Memorial Day. That was the delay.
Yes, I know Monday was a holiday - thanks. I suppose I deserve simplistic replies like yours, which happens when I leave out pertinent details. I should've mentioned that I have Amazon Prime and, because of this, this order should've been in my possession by Tuesday at the earliest regardless of the holiday. Still, I appreciate the feedback even if I don't gain much insight into my issue.
You know, message boards are supposed to be places where like-minded people actively interact and share experiences. Often times, there's very little actual interaction and, in the worst cases, chatter devolves into diva moments where people hurl insults and talk down to others mindlessly. I think it's the reason why these forums have mostly died out. There's no sense of community or mutual respect. Lack of feedback is also a problem. It's a shame, really.
I received Venom on Tuesday from Amazon, but I have Prime so it was free release day delivery.
The USPS (and UPS) are notorious for re-routing packages like that. I've had it happen more times than I can remember.
I will say that the USPS always seems to get the packages to me eventually. Sometimes I've had "lost" things show up months later, but they always seem to show up. UPS (who have gone way downhill) on the other hand have lost about 4 of my packages in the last two years, which never turned up.
