Black Belly is a great Giallo,no doubt about that.If you like Argento's Gialli you'll love it.
Perhaps a bit better than Martino?
Search for the Black Belly thread for more info :).

Hehe. That title! And "Starring international beauty Dagmar Lassender" :D How utterly, utterly fabulous. I didn't know you could be international ;)

But these all look good and I'll probably get all of them eventually. Black Belly and International beauty Dagmar Lassender especially!

    For a few covers more....

    The other two covers:

I'm not sure if I like these two covers though..Look a bit cheap to me.I like the others better.
But I'm just nitpicking.Bring 'em on I say!

Yeah, the first two were much better. These don't even really look like Blue Underground covers. No worries, as long as they are released I don't care. Put Wolf Creek slipcases over them and they'll still be mine.

For both they used existing pictures/covers:

The "Pyjama" cover is from a DVD-r and is the same as the Dutch video cover:

This "Forbidden.." cover looks a tad better IMO.Emphasizes more on the Giallo feel rather than sleaze:

Yeah, that bottom one is great. That font always reminds me of NIGHTMARE CITY though. Time to cook up some oatmeal.

The one I'm most excited to see is The Pyjama Girl Case, though I'll certainly be picking up all four. That one just sounds especially intriguing to me.

Reason why the first two covers are better, is the fact that they are more or less like artwork. On the other hand, the last two look more like photoshop.

That is one movie I would LOVE for BU to put out! Eyeball is a great giallo. :)

I can't wait to see these! They all look so good based on the trailers, especially The Fifth Cord and The Black Belly of the Tarantula. I'll be sure to Netflix them first, and then buy them if I like them.

Wow, I'm really looking forward to these. "Forbidden photos" seems more like a Jess Franco exploitation film than a giallo though. But there's also No Shame's upcoming Ercoli box with two "proper" gialli of him.

Mondo digital also has a review for Forbidden Photos. I was going to pick that one up until I saw it is dubbed. I wish BU would leave the gialli to No Shame. They put out equally stunning transfers, same price points, and the inclusion of both the dub and the original language.

Pyjama Girl looks like the dub is the way to go with Ray Milland and Ferrer's voices. Belly of the Tarantula also looks like the English track is the intended track.

    I wonder about Fifth Cord...
