Someone should tell George Reis of DVD Drive-In though that he pretty much spoiled the ending of TARANTULA for those of us who haven't seen the film by giving away the killer's motivation. :(

Unfortunately, since I am very selective with the DVD's I buy, I rely on reviews to find out about the transfer quality of movies I am interested in.

Sure me too,but I learned to scan a review to just find those bits I need to know.I sometimes fail though.

Out of these four giallo's I would say my favorite would be The Fifth Cord just slightly ahead of Forbidden Photos of a Lady above Suspicion. Of course The Black Belly of the Tarantula is excellent and the only disappointment of the lot is The Pyjama Girl Case.

I watched The Pyjama Girl Case yesterday and loved it. Riz Ortolani really outdid himself with the music in this, it was awesome. Is there a soundtrack around? I also liked how the movie didn't take itself seriously and with it's great set of characters and obvious sense of humor, it worked quite well.

Thanks alot, Jeff. I'm definitally going to have to take a look around for those Amanda Lear songs.

That site is cool too, I've never heard of it until now.

You're welcome, DefJeff. Yeah, soundtrackcollector.com is a good reference site, I use it often and up till now there hasn't been a score I wouldn't find any info on.

I just got done with Forbidden Photos.., I thought Morricone did a good job with the score and the film got a tad bit creepy at the end, but aside from that it was pretty average and even a little boring. I totally saw the ending coming a mile away and I almost never am able to do that.

I guess I just didn't appreciate it as much as Rhett did in his review or maybe it has to do with me coming off The Pyjama Girl Case which I liked a whole lot more.
