My main one would be Angst. Hell even a DVD with English subs would be a start.

Would also like to see the Pusher trilogy on Blu-ray with English subs and El Aura with English subs.

For more mainstream titles, The Abyss and The Assassination of Richard Nixon would be nice to have on Blu-ray but I'm sure they'll come eventually.

Look in my trade thread here, and I bet our version beats the German 4 movies on 1 disc version, we actually have some extras as well.

It's getting a Blu-ray release in the UK on 5/18, from Masters of Cinema...so it'll get a loving release there.

I'm definitely pre-ordering it! I love the film too.

Darker Than Amber '70 w/William Smith and Rod Taylor. I don't think it's ever been released even on R1 DVD...too bad.:(

Yeah, but the PQ is apparently quite bad and zero special features. Thanks for pointing it out though.

That fight scene is something else. They really beat the hell out of each other. I mean really.

I don't why, but I was just thinking about these titles still not on Blu yet.

    Brainscan (1994)
Leatherface Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990)
    Virus (1999)

And of course as usual , Blood Beach.

I'm surprised TCM 3 hasn't been released. I wonder if Scream attempted to get the rights for 3 and 4.

    You would think right.

That and why not a box set like Halloween, Friday the 13th, or Nightmare on Elm Street.

^ ... because New Line owns TCM III, which would go through Warner. And Warner isn't too keen on licensing out their titles to other labels. Plus, if Warner releases it themselves, it will be the R-rated version only (ala Jason Goes To Hell and TCM: The Beginning) due to their asinine policy against releasing unrated films. And if that's the case, I'll be sticking with my DVD anyway, so there's really no point in Warner even bothering.

As for Brainscan, looks like Sony's pressed DVD went out-of-print a few years back and was replaced with a burn-on-demand DVD-R. So it's safe to say they aren't too interested in the title. Glad I grabbed the pressed DVD way back when. I suppose Mill Creek, Image, or Twilight Time could scoop it up though.

So who owned the license for the DVD release of TCM III? How did that get a uncut version?

Regardless, the license thing is just getting ridiculous. I just don't get why any company that owns the rights to said film that has next to zero intentions on releasing a film wouldn't just give out temporary rights. They make money there and be done with it. It's the company that is releasing the Blu that's taking all the financial risk.

P.S. - Is there some master website that shows who "currently" owns what film? Because anytime a topic like this is brought up someone here always quickly states who owns what. I was wondering if there was a place you guys go for this info.

The DVD was released by New Line / Warner Brothers, but it was released way before they implemented the policy. The Unrated Leatherface DVD was released in 2003, I believe Warner implemented this policy circa 2009-ish?

Oh, ok. I have it. I even have the VHS unrated version too. That was a pretty ground breaking VHS imho before DVD's started coming out with special features and such.
