I know this doesn't fit Asian films, but has anyone heard of a rip-off of Nightmare on Elm Street made in India? I know such a films exsits - gorehound video used to sell it (before they went out of business). I can't remember the title and I want to see if I could get a DVD of it - anyone have any ideas what this movie might be called?

    Thanks!

I love Bollywood rip-offs, they crack me up. I have the rip-off's of Superman and Star Wars (Turkish, not strictly Bollywood) and there is a rip-off of Predator that I've seen a few stills of that made me chuckle. Now the most ridiculous thing I've seen listed was a Hindi rip-off of Fulci's "The Psychic" that not only is supposed to be faithful to the story, but a musical as well. I haven't heard of the Nightmare on Elm Street rip-off, if you find it give me a heads up.

The movie is called "Mahakaal" (Time of Death) and it was released in 1993 by the famous Ramsays brothers...can't find it anywhere on dvd...anyone finds it - leave post with a link to it!
