    Bunny Lake is Missing (1965)
    Directed by Otto Preminger
    7.5/10
Carol Lynley (The Poseidon Adventure) and Keir Dullea (2001: A Space Odyssey) play a woman and her brother who report that her young daughter is missing to a superintendent (Laurence Olivier), but there seems to be no evidence that she ever existed. The film plays on a few different levels and also has a creepy incestuous quality that serves the material well. This is a well executed thrill ride and a very entertaining film that ends up being one of the acclaimed director's best despite him dismissing it as unimportant.
