Any here have/know of this release?

Wondering if the PQ is decent. It's only €8.99 on Amazon DE and I was thinking about taking a chance on it...

I have it. The picture quality is good, as is the cover. :) I don't recommend the 3D however.

Unless I'm reading this post at blu-ray.com incorrectly, this sexy cover should be avoided. Damn shame.

    Indeed.:sperm:

So you don't have a problem toggling between 2d and 3d?

    But another poster said this...

So I guess I should be okay because I don't have a 3D player. Kinda weird that it won't let you choose between 2d and 3d though.

Region B locked. I have a region free player, but it's been acting up lately. Don't really feel like buying a new one right now...

Probably gonna take a chance on it since it's so cheap. If it only plays 3d, I'll return that shit. Thanks guys!

This is the one I have and the transfer is really good! It is also region free. The 2D and 3D discs are separate. Unfortunately the soundtrack isn't on a CD. It is on the DVD. Also, this is OOP so it may be hard to find. I was lucky enough to score on on Diabolik. I wish I had known there originally was a mediabook copy. Even though it was in German, it would have been awesome to own!

After reading up on Blu-Ray.com... the boobie cover version, the one below, and the one you posted all share the same transfer. Boobie cover is cheapest though.

Now I'm just wondering about that 3D only BS...

I heard the Italian transfer is best, but I'm not region free and it is one of my favorite films of all time!

Some German releases are horizontally stretched to fill the 1:78 ratio.
    Italian release is in 1.66:1.

Are the extras subtitled, or English friendly?

These have got to be the most ugliest blu ray covers ever.

I was able to turn off the 3D after I saw how pointless it was. I would recommend it for the price. To be honest had I known about the Italian bd (better transfer and extras), I would have spent the extra cash for that one. I honestly didn't mind the picture quality at all on the cheaper release and again, the cover is simply magnificent.

Can't access them for some reason but think they are in German. I wanted an HD copy of the film. Wanted the soundtrack too so it pissed me off that it wasn't on a CD.

Agreed. Anchor Bay's DVD cover from 2004 didn't fare any better. This must be one of those movies where they never really had good poster art to begin with. Speaking of Cemetery Man, I'm still waiting for a definitive release. I have the '84 Entertainment mediabook but that's just for show :D. Is this one of those titles that producers want a shit ton of money for?

That is one of the German versions that has been horizontally stretched to 1.78. Odd decision as the original ratio is 1.66.

The other German releases are probably from that same "stretched" version.

    Italian blu vs German blu...

One more question...Can you tell me the aspect ratio? Thanks!

The version in the capsaholic comparison is the first mediabook 84 entertainment released. The one Mikey Horror and Shannafey posted is the 2nd newer release. I could be wrong, but I think the newer german blu's have been corrected and are in the OAR.

Maybe Mikey and Shanna can chime in on this?

Unfortunately it doesn't state the ratio. I can email you a screenshot if you'd like. Just send me a PM if you would.
