I came into this thread to mention that. The kid and the dog! I'm thankful they didn't show it.

It's been exactly a year since the last post and interestingly enough I saw two films today that featured kids being killed. The first is a Chinese film called Reign of Assassins with Michelle Yeoh. The second was Silip from Mondo Macabro.

GODSEND from 1980, and if sci-f1 counts, EVE OF DESTRUCTION has a dead kid from one of the carnage that the crying mother was holding, and HIGHLANDER 2 has a baby flying head first onto a wall in a runaway train.

The prologue in Lars Von Trier's Antichrist contains
a child falling to it's death from a second floor window in extreme slow motion.
It's probably the most (disturbingly) beautiful shot of a child's death on film.

I may remember it wrong, but didn't a mother put a hot iron on a baby in Omen III?

Also, while it's not horror, I figure a nod should be given to Once Upon a Time in the West for not only having a child killing but having it be part of one of the best villain intros in cinema.

I guess we need to add both IT and mother! to the list.

I'm a little surprised that mother! was able to include that scene and not get NC-17'ed for it.

First movie that comes to mind on this subject is Baby Blues. Multiple extremely graphic murders of children. Pretty brutal little flick actually.

Also The Children (2008) was mentioned....that flick is awesome.
