It's been another great year here at HORROR DIGITAL to start off our 11th year since going public December 1999. To celebrate all the fine folks that make up this website, we've got a big wrapped box filled with 10 DVDs and Blu-rays from discs released this past year that we'll give to one lucky reader. All you have to do it tell us what your favorite horror movie to watch is during Christmas season.

Is it an old classic like BLACK CHRISTMAS? A cheesy delight in SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT? Do you hang your stocking on CHRISTMAS EVIL or wish TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT? Or is it something different, like SANTA'S SLAY, SANTA CLAWS or, hell, GREMLINS? Whatever it is that gets you in the Christmas spirit let us know in a single post in this thread and you could win.

What's in the box? Well, you'll just have to wait and find out. Rest assured we know you've been a good little horror watcher this year, so we'll hold off on the coal.

The contest runs until Christmas Day, December 25th, where a winner will be randomly selected from all the posts made in this thread. Happy holidays to all our readers, and thanks again for making this site so great.

Now tell us...what's your favorite horror film to watch during Christmas?

Curtains is my favorite movie I watch during Xmas season. My VHS tape blows the echo bridge release out of the water.

For me, it's definitely Gremlins. I'm a lot more family-oriented when it comes to movie watching during the holidays! :)

I'm gonna go with Silent Night, Deadly Night. Nothing says christmas like a big ol' helping of sleazy exploitation!

Sometime in December before Christmas, I always try to go for my trifecta of Silent Night Deadly Night, Black Christmas, and black Christmas remake. Of the 3, I have to go with SNDN as my favorite.

I love Elves. Solid family entertainment, cat drown in a toilet, and one of the best lines in a movie ever.

    "Is everything alright?"

"No, Willie! Gramps is a nazi!"

Silent Night, Deadly Night gets the vote. I look forward to it every year, and this time around I'll be in a wee cabin in the woods of NH to enjoy it on Christmas Eve :)

To All a Goodnight is one of my favorites as well. That might get the second viewing slot this year and if I'm still up Black Christmas will make a round. Did the Christmas Evil and Don't Open Till Christmas thing last year, so those may not see the light of day for a nother year or two.

Silent Night Deadly Night, although I must confess some absurd love for the Black X-mas remake. It's just a fun flick.

While not technically 'horror' my favorite film to watch during this time of year would have to be Misery. It paints such a bleak and desolate portrait that I think works very well for the season.

Black Christmas '74 is my must for the season, followed by Silent Night, Deadly Night. However, as stupid as it is, Black X-Mas remake is actually filled with Christmas nostalgia, giving it some saving grace with the colorful (if repetitive) murders.

I think this year I'll rewatch To All a Good Night on such an eve. Middle of summer didn't really add a lot to it, I got to say. Hehe

Black Christmas is the obvious choice but now I think Gremlins is gonna get a watch this week.

It would be Black Christmas '74 for me, it was one of those that was just on when I was a kid, and it's just stuck ever since. Christmas Eve, lights out, everything quiet, and that flick just works wonders. :)

Top 3 would be the original Black Christmas, Silent Night, Deadly Night and the first segment of Tales From The Crypt w/ Joan Collins. :D
