Great price, that's exactly what I was waiting for this set to be at.

Problem: No Fry's near me. That's a in store price only.

How did you pull that one off? Getting it shipped along with Indiana Jones.

Both were available for shipping when I placed my order. They were both back-ordered, but it only took a few days for them to ship.

I had also ordered the Hatchet blu-ray for $2, but they ended up cancelling that. Looks like that isn't available for shipping anymore either.

They're actually at my local UPS facility right now, but it doesn't show them as out for delivery yet. Maybe tomorrow?

Yeah, now it says (just for Chucky) store pick up only. I wonder if you include it with something else (that's ship to home) it would work?

    Not exactly $29.99 but...

    Amazon $37.98
    Best Buy $34.99

Amazon $34.99. That is the price I've been waiting for.

But $29.99 is better at Frys. If only Best Buy was at $29.99, Amazon would drop their prices in 2 seconds.

Never bought from Frys before. After that WB Shop & Target debacle, I don't trust many places.

I don't have any Fry's stores near me, but they're basically the Best Buy of the west coast.

I ordered my DVD racks and the occasional movie from them over the years. Never had a problem.

And like I mentioned, they're currently shipping the Chucky set again for $29.99.

P.S. Worth mentioning, Best Buy does price match Frys.com. If you can find the Chucky set in a Best Buy store, they should be able to match the price.

Thanks for the tip. Just for fun I did a chat session with Amazon pertaining this item & told them about the lower price at Frys.com . The rep there said they don't (individual price match) but will submit the info. As they always trying to compete. Said it's possible they could lower the price across the board. Maybe if enough people tell them about it.

I only mention Amazon because I have prime. If it was the same I would get it there.

Anyone who missed the Fry's sale, this is currently $32.96 at Amazon (they matched Wal-Mart).

Only $3 more, which isn't bad.

Well I finally ordered this. Amazon's price is pretty good at the moment for six films. Looking forward to watching the sequels in hd.

Man this set just keeps dropping in price on Amazon. I bought it about a week ago when it was $34.99. Still a great deal even at that price. Now that Friday the 13th set just needs to get cheaper!

Well depending on the packaging this is tempting. I have the previous collection but hate the fold out packaging. I moved the discs to a standard case for easier access. If this new ones a case and reasonably priced I might just grab it. It'd be nice to get a collectors set down the line with individual cases and whatnot but I don't think that'll ever happen unless Universal licences the films out.

Also, I wonder if they'll use Screams new transfer for part 1? I doubt it but that'd be nice!

As far as I'm aware Scream used Universal's master, so the only thing stopping Universal from using it is their own cheapness to redesign the disc itself. Which I wouldn't underestimate.

I never did buy any Chucky discs, so it's tempting. And already fairly cheap. A solid Halloween/Christmas sale would make this hard for me to pass up.

Universal owns all of the sequels outright, but they had to license the first film from MGM. Based on the content description, I strongly suspect it's going to be a direct port of the 2009 MGM Blu-Ray that was included in the last box set, and not a newly reauthored release.

This is kind of what I'm expecting. I mean I hope it's the new one but I'm not holding my breath.
