When you watch non region A blus on your PC, does the PC want to naturally change the region on your PC drive?

Love the Box Set, but to me, $175.00 is just a bit too steep for me, and I already own it on DVD, but it does look like a sweet box set. Can't afford it.

I have yet to watch a different region blu on my PC, however I was under the assumption from this thread that this blu-ray is region free with the exception being that the extras are in PAL format. If that is the case then my PC blu-ray player will have no problems with it.

    No worries for non-PAL residents...

I read 3 reviews of the Arrow Blu-Ray and all but one of the special features are in HD and they play in any player... the only extra in SD is a interview and if you tv set handles pal and your player is multi-region then you don?t need to worry...

The extra i?m talking about is...

Fulci In the House: The Italian Master of Splatter (17 min, SD) ? This includes anecdotes and memories of Fulci from Joe Dante, Anthony Timpone, and others. It?s also the only extra presented in standard definition and PAL format. If your TV can handle PAL you?ll be fine, but if not you?re out of luck.

It was shot on 35mm, not 16mm.

Doing a quick Google search will reveal numerous references to City of the Living Dead being shot on 16mm and blown up to 35mm for theatrical exhibition.

That's not to say that you are necessarily wrong, I just want you to understand that there seems to be some disagreement between various sources on that fact and I didn't just pull it out of my ass. :D

Actually, it would have been the second... the ORIGINAL DVD Beaver link was for the DVD comparison only. They moved it to the Blu-Ray comparisons section after adding the Blu-Ray review so the first two links no longer work. :p Just sayin',;)
