There are a bunch of theatrical screenings of classic horror films throughout October, so I thought this would be a good spot to organize all of them and let people know what's playing in your town.

In Seattle the Grand Illusion Cinema (www.grandillusioncinema.org) is doing its annual All Monsters Attack! series. This year the films screening are:

    10/9 & 10/10: The Green Slime (16mm)

10/16: The American Genre Film Archive/Something Weird Double Feature - The Mad Love Life of a Hot Vampire and The Haunted Pussy

    10/17 & 10/19: A Nightmare on Elm Street '84 (35mm)

    10/17 & 10/20: A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (35mm)

10/18: Rampaging Mutant Triple Feature (3 secret films on 35mm)

    10/21: Science Crazed

10/22: Bigfoot Double Feature - Valley of the Sasquatch (my film) and Creature from Black Lake (35mm)

    10/23, 10/24 & 10/27: Lifeforce (35mm)

10/25: Shot on Video Marathon (5 secret SOV films on VHS)

    10/30: Spookies (VHS)

10/31: Invasion of the Saucer Men (16mm)

I wish I were in Los Angeles this weekend. [IMG]

Cinefamily is screening Hack-O-Lantern / Halloween Night in 35mm on Friday night, followed by a 35mm screening of Twisted Nightmare on Saturday night.

At least we (hopefully) have the upcoming Hack-O-Lantern blu-ray to look forward to. Now, somebody get off their ass and put a beautiful transfer of Twisted Nightmare on blu-ray!

The Fantom Event, that is broadcasted in select theaters throughout the country, will be showing Lugosi's Dracula along with it's Spanish counterpart the last Sunday and Wednesday of October.

You can see Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE in San Francisco at Clay Theatre on Oct. 23 and 24. It's a Midnight show. Not sure if it's 35 mm or ...?

It'll be taking place after Halloween, but there's a cool event happening in Olympia, WA on Saturday, November 14th. It's a horror marathon called All Freakin' Night that starts at midnight and goes till 10 AM Sunday morning. This year they will be showing 35mm prints of:

    The Beyond
    Q: The Winged Serpent
    Shock Waves
    Who Can Kill a Child?
    Re-Animator
