To all those that have their tongues so firmly planted up Code Red's ass, or are just neo-hippies who hate hearing ANYONE complain about ANYTHING because it puts a storm cloud over your perfect day: FUCK OFF.

Code Red screwed this release up big time and that's all there is to it!! Period! Done! I'm done supporting them! I'm happy with the releases I have, but they won't be getting another penny from me as long as they're releasing interlaced transfers and insulting us with a "Septic" DVD menu.

I know what you mean about that "septic" menu it's like they just gave up. I'm waiting for a review of redeemer to see if the shit menu gets reused and if so I will download it without it.

Nah, it's just funny when people throw around phrases and words that are so overwrought over something like a dvd.

CR has explained why they use the Septic Cinema menus, btw. I'm no fan of the menus, but a financial obligation is just that. An idea that turned out not to be so good, but it is what it is.

Thats the problem seems like many of the decisions are flawed and have hurt CR financially.

Well it's simple economics. You put out a shit product and you get shit in return. Garbage in, garbage out.

What's wrong with the menus? I thought Code Red did a nice job on the menus for this release. They fit the movie, and they have audio clips from the movie that run throughout, which reminds me of back in the day when companies would go all out in throwing audio clips on menus simply because they could.

It sucks that the Madman DVD isn't perfect, hey, it's not the end of the world. I'd rather Bill put it out than not at all. We still get a very nice doc out of it.

would have paid the 23 bucks (with shipping) for the doc anyway so.....

picture was different right some scenes looked better other far worse, watched the anchorbay dvd right after watching and noticed there was information on the new disc that never showed , at least on my set up, visable in the new dvd . Had hoped for a better release but whatever didn't turn out that way

The Madman Menu is fine, I'm talking about the Septic DVD menu featured in Night Child and a few other Code Red DVDs

Hey, in Madman the actors don't perform too well, no?

One reason why Code Red titles might not sell well is some online retailers list them wrong. It makes it look like they do not carry a title. At DVD Universe they are selling The Redeemer as Class Reunion Massacre and Horror High is being sold as Twisted Brain.

I don't know if anymore titles are screwed up or not.

Didn't Code Red state that sales were dismal for Horror High?

I don't think Code Red has ever said one of their titles has sold well. Am I wrong?

Well, it doesn't help that they don't make their DVD's available for big time online retailers (Deep Discount) and they're violently anti-Netflix......

Dood, the hot tub scene with TP and Whatshername doing that dance back and forth to the cheesy music. That's some top shelf acting boy.

The closeup on the TP belt buckle seals the deal on that part.

Damn straight. TP's belt buckle is what sealed the deal for her to get in the tub with him in the first place.

I always wondered why Marz forgot how to speak. Not very important but does being a "Madman" mean you totally forget how to enunciate words? He sounds like Chewbacca. That close-up shot of his face at the end with him doing the wookie mating call is awesomely hilarious.
