I still haven't seen the second one. What's taking Anchor Bay so long to release it stateside? And, because I will inevitably be told to import it, I don't have a region free player. Yes, I know they're cheap enough but, the last time I had one, I found myself re-buying every movie once it came out in the US. I just have this weird thing where I have to own the official US release whenever possible. So, it became more economically viable, for me, to just stay away from releases outside of the US.

I'm stoked about this, I loved the first two and I'm really hoping this keeps up the same level of quality.

That?s the main reason why you don?t have the better looking pack from region 2.

And also "Legend of Billie Jean" to name a few.

Not crazy about prequels...but I enjoyed both of the first two quite a bit, so I am game for this.

I just watched a rip of this and really enjoyed it, which surprised me considering it doesn't seem to have the best reviews (lots of people who dug the first two are bagging on it).

The first one stands on its own, the second has a definite Halloween II homage feel to it, while the third one was a full-on woods slasher much like Rituals, The Final Terror and/or Wrong Turn.

This is definitely my favorite recent horror series, I love all three flicks.

I didn't even know part 2 existed, much less 3.
I did catch and dig the first film so it looks like I have more to look for.

So what are you waiting for???

Go and see part II if you want to know what the remake of Halloween II should have been.

The first one is way too good.
Give it another spin and you will see it´ll grow on you.

And the second one? My God... True Halloween II love there.

I loved (and own) the first two films. I'm planning on watching the 3rd today/tomorrow, and from all I've heard it should be just as entertaining.

I saw the trilogy for the first time about two weeks ago, and I was blown away by the quality :)

Loved the true early 80:s old school feel, and that they went for suspence instead of only relying on gore. And compared to all the Hollywood crap coming out these days, there is no annoying shaky-cam/ultra-editing and MTV/Bimbo/90210 characters in the movie.

Blows away almost everything coming out in the slashergenre the last 25 years.

Getting these on Blu-Ray in 2 weeks!

    THANK YOU NORWAY!! :)
