I'd have to go with Burnt Offerings. The Pit and the Pendulum and other Price/Poe/Corman flicks are right behind.

Tough choice. I'm going to go with Childs Play, but Return of the Living Dead is right behind it.

I love MGM. Aside from horror, they gave us a bunch of great box sets (Ingmar Bergamn, Sergio Leone, Woody Allen, etc.)! But, to be on-topic, I narrowed it down to 9 horror titles that I am so grateful for, mainly because I never thought they'd get the SE treatment that they got.

Then I narrowed it down to 2.

Let's call it a Tie: TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 and PUMPKINHEAD

I never expected anyone to release these 2 favorites with anything beyond a trailer (perhaps because of MGMs earlier releases of both) but they came through with so many glorious features! Tolkein and Bond aside, I am still quite sad at their passing.

although they definitely own a library of great titles, I like most, will have to with "Return of the Living Dead". It's not just one of my favorite horror comedy films - it's one of my favorite movies.

I'm gonna go with "Phantasm." I've seen it a bunch of times and I still don't know what the hell is going on!

I have a few I guess. Howling is a great watch at this time of year and has always been a fun film. Return of the Living Dead is a classic O'Bannon romp and I would have to say at this time of year, my favorite would have to be The Fog. Carpenter telling a great ghost story so appropriate for Halloween Viewing.

Squirm, cause its one that I remember always wanting to see but never could, and it is one of the MGM titles that I wouldn't have expected to turn up on DVD as quickly as it did.

Id have to go with last house on the left. This movie floored me as a kid and scared me for life! Even in its horrid R rated cut.
