    Christmas
Silent night deadly night will always be a fun slasher for me. A lot of people hate the first 45 minutes of character development, but I found it to be one of the best things about the movie. Plus Linnea Quigley impaled on a decorations antlers...coooommeee oooonnn

  6. I would say Thanksgiving but since that is not an option

    I'll say Friday the 13th

Halloween...II! Ha ha, yes, it's true. While the original is loved and considered a classic by many, and for legitimate reasons, the sequel was a thrill ride for me. And sometimes, that's all I want.

Halloween for sure, but not just for the Carpenter film. There are plenty of other great horror films that take place around Halloween, like Night of the Demons and more recently Trick 'r' Treat.

Hmm, thats a toughie, i'd say both Halloween and Christmas are perfect slasher setting movies, and even though I love MBV and F13, they arent really slasherific holidays with the exception of those movies. This is a hard choice, I guess I'd have to go with Halloween, but Black Christmas is a close second.

As much as I love Friday the 13th series and My Bloody Valentine, when I think of horror I think of Halloween.
Birthdays don't count unless they're yours. Even then, most everyone else doesn't care.

Tough call, but Halloween for me also!

Incidentally I first discovered this site in fall 2003 when I was researching the difference between the old version and the new Divimax version of Halloween. Enjoyed your reviews ever since.

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, even though it doesn't take place on Friday the 13th.
