30 Days of Night has really grown on me and I really dig it. It's the bonkers make up effects and unshy use of gushing bloodyness... good fun. :)

Drag Me to Hell for me too. Just a genuinely fun "scary" movie that kept me entertained the whole way through, and as weird as it seems, that's a rarity nowadays.

30 Days of Night. Loved it. It was plenty gory and the entire concept was sooooo damn cool. Super ending.

Drag Me to Hell ranks up there with the Evil Series IMO.
Way better than the crap Boogeyman and Gruge flicks.

I really loved the gross-out horror in Drag Me to Hell. Such as great film to watch in the theatre! The casket scene was golden. Dance of the Dead is a close runner up. I was surprised how enjoyable it was, despite the fact that it adhered so closely to Return of the Living Dead-style humor.

Well... DRAG ME TO HELL for me to!!

I just had a blast at the movies with this one. It doesn't try to fit in any trend or to surpass the last gory outing from the Saw franchise. It's a great entertainment.

Kudos to Dance Of The Dead and The Children.

I'll have to go with The Children. I had the best time watching that one, and I really loved the way they pulled the whole thing off. The production design was great, the characters were well developed, and it truly had some truly sinister moments to it.

I recently viewed it a second time on Blu-ray, and loved it just as much on a repeat viewing.

I will say Dance of the Dead, I really enjoyed that one. I don't like running zombies, but I loved the way they burst out of their graves and landed running full speed. I also liked The Children, 30 Days of Night and Drag Me To Hell - although I do think Drag Me To Hell is getting a little bit too much praise everywhere.

haven't seen drag me to hell (and really have no interest in it) so I guess I would have to say 30 days of night, although that was not great to me but it was ok. I really haven't seen too many of them. I am looking forward to checking out the children though. That has gotten great reviews so far.

Definitely Drag Me To Hell, which is one of the most entertaining films I've seen in a long, long time!

Have to go with 30 Days of Night because it's the only one of these I have seen.

Drag Me to Hell for me. It had the best story line and overall mood for me. 30 Days of Night came in second.

I like The Grudge alot. Mainly for SMG, but I also find the story to be quite scary.
