"A young black woman came in and sat beside us"

A movie connoisseurs version of "A ________ walked into a bar......" joke LOL

That's good stuff though.......you know it was damn funny if you remember it 30 years later.

I prefer the remake of Critters to the original.

You may know it as Leprechaun.

(Critters 2 and Critters 3 aren't too shabby though.)

Critters 2 is my favorite Easter horror movie. I watch it with my 6 yr old daughter. I just make sure to skip the part with the boobs .

Critters 1-3 were awesome! I can't wait for this show. Especially if the original producers are behind it. As long as they listened to the critique of the 4th. They had 20 years to reflect.

I guess it would safe to assume that a Critters Blu-ray or Critters Blu-ray Collection should be coming soon.

I watched Critters 2&3 recently and found them pretty terrible. They didn't hold up for me at all. Need to watch the first again as I remember that one being my favorite.

    Still love the original.
Part 2 had some moments, but overall, was a big disappointment.
But it was a masterpiece compared to part 3 and 4. Typical 90:s DTV crap, shot back to back.

I'll keep my expectations low for the series, especially since it's a SyFy production.
But hopefully this will help to bring out the films on Blu-Ray.
Just hope that I'm not forced to buy an entire box set, to get the original.
Otherwise, I'll just keep on watching my HDTV rip.
I do not want the sequels in my collection.

Yeah a collector's edition of the first would be awesome.

A Warner Archives release would probably be more likely.

I love the first two, a proprer blu ray is definitely overdue.

A web series? Not even good enough for the syfy tv channel? Easy pass lol

Wow. Surprised at the comments about #2. It's my favorite of the series. It's the Empire Strikes Back of Critters.

The second and third are a good time imo. I rewatched the first not long ago and it's awfully slow to get going.

Likewise. The first one is just OK, but I find it rather bland and boring and rarely re-watch it. 3 and 4 are pretty terrible. But 2 is an entertaining blast and exactly what I was expecting from the first film which failed to deliver which in a film titled Critters should be campy and fun. So for me the perfect Critters Blu-ray boxset would just be a Blu-ray of Critters 2: The Main Course.

I used to love the second but having recently rewatched it I didn't think it held up well at all. It feels a lot more childish than the first film. There's a few good bits scattered though but sadly it feels a lot cheaper than the original.
I enjoy the characters more in the original film. Dee Wallace is especially great in that film.
I also like that the Critters grow larger and larger after feeding which is never followed in any of the sequels.

The first three are all great, but the fourth is near unwatchable. If nothing else, this will hopefully get the series on blu-ray.
