Thought i'd give it its own thread here.

Awesome, and glad it's coming to Bluray!
I know but i meant in the high def section since its been announced for blu ray only.
Some cool news from Daniel Farrands via Facebook!:
"1428 Films and Hutson Ranch Media are pleased to announce that CRYSTAL LAKE MEMORIES will be released on August 27, 2013 as a three-disc BLU-RAY/DVD COMBO PACK. Pre-sale begins July 8th, with an exclusive 4TH BONUS DVD available only when you order directly from crystallakememories.net!"
I'm glad they decided to give it a Blu & DVD release.
Very intrigued to see what's on the bonus disc.
I'm way too excited for this release.
I have head it is extended interviews on the the 4th dvd exclusive.
I'll hold off and wait to see how much more the crystallakememories site is selling it for. Extended interviews aren't that big of a deal. Seven hours of content is exhaustive enough. If Amazon has it considerably cheaper, I see no need for the bonus disc.
The extended interviews were so good on Never Sleep Again (there was about 4 hours worth of just the bonus material and none of it was redundant with the main documentary) that I'll definitely pre-order straight from the source for these ones. Can't wait!
Bit more info,
anyone think this doc will show footage of part 3D alternate pig Jason done by stan Winston fx and alternate endings or probably will just use stills pics and talk about it????
The latter possibly less Paramount gives them the OK.
I´ll bet no extras will be on the general release... I mean, 7 hours of HD content in one blu it will be full.
This should only be available in two editions... One with 1 Blu (doc) + 1 Dvd (extras); and 2 Dvd (doc) and 1 (extras).
This doc is only made for fans... and fans want extras.
I don't need extras with this release. The 7 hour documentary is definitely enough.
Then I guess you´re not a die hard fan...
Every fan would want excellent extras for their favorite movies and now we have a 7 hours doc about the whole franchise without extras.
If you read carefully, the extras dvd is not only about more interviews but it also have featurettes. The NOES extras disc was on the same level as the doc disc.
7 hours. iam only interested in parts 1-4 and then I will skip to part 6. that's it for me..
Friday the 13th
Probably not even that!
