Awesome news! I figured it was an honest mistake.
now that's what i call good service!
First review I have seen
Just received mine from the original site today. Never got a shipping confirmation, but hey it's here. Extra bonus dvd is in a separate sleeve like someone else stated before. Not sure how I'm gonna store that with the set.
To follow up, I got a shipping confirmation email from CAV distributing which I presume is my bonus dvd. It's currently in California making its way east.
Has anyone gotten around to watching the bonus 5th disc?
Are there any clips or photos to be seen on this disc or is it 4 hours of talking heads?
It's unedited green screen 4 hours of talking and that's it. The quality is also very poor as the image has an ugly white tone in it.
Yikes. I just ordered this from Amazon. Good to here I won't be missing the fifth disc.
I can understand why these ended up on the cutting room floor. The 5th disc is noting to cry about unless you love extended rambling. Anyway that is just my opinion as I am sure someone will say they loved it.
I just finished the main documentary last night (plowed through five and half hours of it). It's good. I really want to re-watch all these movies again now.
I haven't gotten to the bonus disk yet, maybe I'll start it tonight.
would you say its on par with Never Sleep Again?
Still waiting patiently in Canada. Wish they would have shipped these out early so we could have actually WATCHED them on the 13th rather than just get a shipping confirmation.
That's cool. I think the last time we had a shout out on a disc the DVDs were recalled.
I got to say Amanda Righetti is the biggest dumb barbie doll bitch. She says the remake did bad cause "the fanboys got their panties in a bunch" so it bombed. This is a prime example of why I hate these barbie doll actors in modern horror films.
How did it do bad? It made 91 mill worldwide on a $19 million budget. Silly actress
Yeah though it wasn't a huge hit but it did not bomb. Still she blames the fanboys for the movie not being a huge hit. Someone should have told her the movie sucked!
there's a review up on The Digital Bits. I'm not a fan of this reviewer, to be honest. His writing style is pretty poor, and he tends to make a lot of errors both grammatically and factually. For example, he claims that when His Name Was Jason was released, it was such a disappointment due largely to the fact that there were no Friday box sets, or other comprehensive resources available to fans of the series at the time. He just seems completely unaware of the publication history of the original Crystal Lake Memories book, or the Crystal Lake to Manhattan box set for that matter.
I watched the entire documentary yesterday! It flew by and didn't really feel that long. I enjoyed it a great deal, but think the Nightmare doc was better.
I'm in the same boat. Here's hoping it shows up tomorrow cause the weekends about the only time I'll be able to make it through all 7(or 11) hours!
Got mine in the mail today...:sperm:
