Well at least you got Harry Manfredini's signature. He pretty much has the coolest looking signature style.

I already had his autograph (with the theme notation!) on my F13 CD Soundtracks Boxset, but it's nice to have a 2nd signature!

I'm still trying to figure out the other 2 signatures. :hum:

They're Thommy Hutson (Producer) and Tiffany Paulsen (Suzi Donaldson - Jason Takes Manhattan).

I think the one on the spine might be Tiffany Paulsen.

Edit: ...and I see it was already answered. :)

This documentary has made me more angry with the MPAA than ever before. I'm looking at the lists of cuts for part 5. It's no longer a horror movie or slasher flick. It's a joke. It seems like the MPAA was never going to be satisfied with any changes they made. "...has obviously been edited but still too long." "Not as strong of an X as it was." "..changes were apparent but still too strong." "...still contributes to an X." "No longer an X but contributing factor." I guess the footage remains unfound. Wasn't there a vault search done for parts 4 through 8 when they got the new guy who did the special features? I wish Paramount never had these films and that some studio had the balls to release them as X back in the day. The one I want uncut the most is part 2. At one point Fullerton showed a VHS tape of the uncut scenes to Greg Nicetero who was shocked at the double impalement scene. This means the footage exited at one point.

wasn't he specifically told by Cunningham to "keep that fucking mask out of the movie" or some such thing? considering he was, what...23 or something?, when he made the film, its not surprising that he'd capitulate to pretty much any and every demand the producer made of him.

That's how it went down and I have no big issues with JGTH.

I really wish they kept the ending with those tree demons. They looked awesome.

The tree demons are in the workprint version.

Didn't Cunningham also slam JGTH at the end of the segment, about not having Jason in the film that much? He was being a bit hypocritical IMO. Then again, I never really thought Cunningham had the best interests of the character throughout the series. If anything, his son comes off more sincere in regards to the series.

Where did the signed copies come from? How much were they and are they still available?

I know but I wish they were in the final film.

Yeah Cunningham comes across as a big bullshitter in pretty much every interview I've watched of his.

I'm not sure that's really hypocritical - there's a difference between telling a young director to drop/change the mask and telling him to not have Jason in the movie. It sounds like Cunningham said the former and the director did the latter because Jason hadn't been blown up yet and he thought it would be cool.

They came from Dark Delicacies as mine did also. To answer your question there is no more left. Mine was the last one which I bought at the store. There was box of unsigned blu rays but were returned to 1428 Films.

I couldn't get either blu-ray disc to play. They just spin and spin and spin, then eventually say "CANNOT READ THIS DISC".

I think it's a compatibility issue with my player, because I can't imagine getting two defective discs in the same package. If I recall, Bereavement is the only other blu-ray that has given me this problem.

Have you updated your player's firmware recently? Or try it in another player if you have one...then you'd know for sure if it's defective discs or compatibility issues.

I only have one blu-ray player. Firmware is at 1.72 and highest available is 1.73, so I'll have to try that. I did try clearing the memory cache and doing a factory reset, but neither worked.

Do you have a USB drive in the USB port? I've had a couple of Universal Blu-rays that wouldn't play unless I removed the USB drive.
