I love this movie... wish it would get a DVD release. Some cool Screaming Mad George FX... and Bo Svenson as a redneck sheriff... weee!
This is a fantastic little nasty. The snake and gore effects are really quite remarkable. Great and graphic stuff. The tragic love story at the center of the story is pretty effective as well. I came out of it caring about the characters by the time the end rolled around. It has a truly excellent score too, not to mention the nice rural locations. I'm hoping MGM releases this one uncut on DVD very soon, as well as the original, which is a good little film in its own right.
well i dont think mgm will be releasing this on dvd since sony bought them out and i doubt sony will ever release this movie on region 1 dvd
I haven't seen this one in many years, but it has Jill Schoelen in it! I remember it being pretty good actually, and I might have to rent the VHS sometime again to see it.
Caught this on The Movie Channel last night. Despite it being a pan and scan print, it looked quite good. Still dying to have this one and the original film on DVD.
I saw it for the first time on TMC about a week ago. I was expecting a really crappy B-movie...and it is for the most part. It's so cheesy, it's good. You do have Jill Schoelen who's always incredibly hot and some of the creature effects at the ending are some of the coolest stuff I've seen in a low budget movie. The storyline is predictable as hell and the dialogue between the characters could've been written by a 13 year old....but what do you expect from an unrelated sequel of a crappy movie?
And what ever happened to her? She was in stretch of horror films for a while. The Stepfather Curse II: The Bite Cutting Class The Phantom of the Opera Popcorn When a Stranger Calls Back Not horror but anyone remember D.C. Cab?
