Apologies if this has already been posted - I searched and couldn't find anything.

THE MIDNIGHT HORROR COLLECTION: BLOODY SLASHERS - Hoboken Hollow, Room 33, Secrets Of The Clown, Curtains

    https://www.echobridgeentertainment.com/dvd/The_Midnight_Horror_Collection_Bloody_Slashers_96979

Has anyone seen this collection? For $10 I'll probably take a chance but I wondered about the quality. I know Echo Bridge did a nice job with "Prom Night" but they also have a lot of those public domain collections with varying quality. Also, I notice the other three titles in the collection are available as stand alone versions. Maybe "Curtains" will get its own packaging?

I wish they could have kept the original artwork but I'll just be glad to finally see this one.

Excellent find. If anyone picks this up, let us know about the quality!

Poking around the internet a bit more it looks like most sites list an October 5 release date for this. (Though it's not up for pre-order at amazon or Deep Discount.) I think I'll wait until then since shipping direct from Echo Bridge is pretty steep.

If I had to die in a slasher movie, it would be on an ice rink CURTAINS style. Great find, hopefully it's widescreen.

If it's anamorphic I'll get it,though I would prefer a stand alone release (if they release one).I see they're releasing some old Full Moon films as well.Wonder if they include any extras ?

wow, I cant believe this is actually happening. It seems like every few years theres a rumor about a curtains DVD coming out and it never happens. I cant wait to see this in all its DVD glory, I've only witnessed its awesomeness in a crappy torrent version. Defiantly good news

I'm a little leery about this. While Prom Night's transfer was lovely, colorful, and bright, it was also from a European disc and Echo Bridge has released some pretty typical VHS transfers in the past if I'm not mistaken.

I'd love to find out that I'm wrong and it's actually a restored widescreen version. Actually, I might just cry if that was true, but I'm not holding my breath. Still, I'm glad it'll be released somehow.

Yeah I saw that today; Puppet Master 1-3 and Trancers 1-3. It's odd because Full Moon is doing their own HD remastering, the first Puppet Master on Blu-ray being the start.

I'll put Curtains on the watch list, as it seems to get many an approval here.

I am pretty sure that it will be a VHS like fullscreen version. If this was a remastered widescreen version they would release it as a single disc and not just as part of a 4 DVD collection. I wouldn't surprise me if it was the same transfer as the UK disc.

I don´t have any high hopes with this company.
The "Prom Night" DVD they released was anamorphic but it had heavy use of annoying DNR that smeared everything out during motion :(

That's not DNR, that's called ghosting. It happens when a PAL transfer is converted to NTSC and not speed-corrected. It's just laziness.

That's why you gotta own the UK DVD from Network. Same transfer, no annoying ghosting.

Agreed - 4 movies for $10? Don't get your hopes up here.

    Thanks for the info. :)
I just watched 10 minutes of the Echo Bridge disc before I turned it off and sold it.

Ordering the Network DVD right now :)

I might just purchase this...and then create a custom cover completely disregarding the other three films. hehe
