I'm actually excited about this. The only thing I don't like about Argento's movies would be the lack of good narrative flow, and hopefully the two newer guys who wrote this script have their shit together. Brody signing on would probably be an indication that this is indeed the case.

Plus, who doesn't love giallos? One of the funnest genres of film out there, I'm hoping this turns out well.

Adrien Brody? Wow, that's awesome that Argento could get someone of Brody's caliber. Hopefully this turns out to be pretty good and maybe Brody's involvement will get it some mainstream notice in the states.

It certainly didn't help THE JACKET, but still, better Brody than say, Steven Weber.

isn't this kind of old news? the artwork was up at dreadcentral back in early october:

once again, i'm willing to give the man another chance. Good actors, GREAT cover art, and a decent name (IMO). This is the first place i've heard it mentioned that the title would be "Yellow". The articles at DC mentioned that the name might be changing, but didnt say "yellow" was an alternative. Personally, even though i like the title, i think a name change might be a good idea. Considering that Argento's most recent pictures haven't had very positive receptions among his fan base, naming his most recent film after the genre that he helped define might raise expectations a little too high.

Can't say the trailer impressed me (but that might have been the LQ viewing experience), but that poster is amazing.

Still haven't seen Mother of Tears (what's wrong with me?!?!) but since I've enjoyed pretty much everything Argento has thrown our way (excluding Jenifer and Pelts, but including Phantom of the Opera ... yeah, I know, weird), I have some hope.

Just hope it's better than The Card Player.

Yeah, I second that! He's one of the only directors that I instantly blindly buy a DVD of a film he made. He hasn't ever really disappointed me, though aside from Mother of Tears and the stuff for Masters of Horror, his films haven't been as good in these past few years. Though much better than other genre directors who have been out there for years!
