My disc finally arrived today, with a free issue of what appears to be a German version of Rue Morgue, but with more bazongas and beaver. It's called X-Rated and it looks very amusing!

I'll probably pop a disc in tonight to make sure it works at the very least. I hope I can watch an episode soon. I'm just relieved I got a copy. :D

I finished the last episode last night and I was pretty pleased with the set overall. It was what I expected, and some of the episodes had some interesting moments. I would rate them like this:

    The Neighbor - 4/5
    The Tram - 3/5
    The Eyewitness - 3.5/5
    The Doll - 3/5

Nice set but the cost should not be over 40 bucks for what you get.

I ended up selling mine to a friend for a little bit less than what I paid for it. I thought it was decent, but I would never watch these again. Only pick up this set if you are:

    A) A hardcore Argento-phile
    B) Getting the set for less than $25-$30, it's not worth more than that, no matter who you are.

Argento is my fave, but in all honesty, this set is worth owning. It already gives indication to his crafty camera work and overall flair for the giallo. Also, damn good quality for something that was never considered for digital technology over thirty years ago.

Yup,it has English and German subs. Not the best subs, some parts aren't even translated. Most noticeably in the Cozzi interview bits. But it's enough to know what's going on.

I bought it off Xploitedcinema. Tony usually describes what he carries in great detail. So even if there isn't an explanation on the box, he'll figure it out himself before listing it. Wherever you saw it, I am sure it is the same one from Raptor/Dragon.

Yes, I saw it in a store, it was from Dragon - but without any mention on the box, I was nervous.

You have a local store that sells this stuff? I'm jealous. That is one thing Toronto doesn't have (to my knowledge).
