Thanks but I think I'll wait for the Dragon release.
Or if that takes too long I'll probably buy this one:

Don't know the quality of this one though.
If it's good enough I'll buy some more great Giallo DVD-Rs from them.

  5. Let's hope the third mother is as interesting as the first (Suspiria) and a lot more interesting than the boring as hell second one (Inferno)

I doubt this film will be able to live up to either Suspiria or Inferno, but one can always hope!! Needless to say, I'm excited as hell. :D

I hope this one gets an American theatrical release. It would be amazing to see an Argento film in the theater.

I actually thought Inferno kicked ass.

I liked Inferno more than Suspiria, but both are favorites of mine.

The mention of Dan Brown in that article frightens me. Somehow I cannot help imagining a lousy Dario-does-Dan-Brown wannabe Hollywood "thriller". He should just stick to his own thing and forget about 3rd rate zeitgeist novelists.

You know, if this film is like either Suspiria or Inferno, I will be all over it. Even if it's not, I'm still quite excited about it. Thanks for the news!

    OK here's the news:
Oooh,I'm so looking forward to it now!
For those who didn't read it in case of spoilers:you're in for a treat!!
Only "problem" would be the (use of bad) CGI :nervous:.It could work though..
Still this news is fucking awesome!

This sounds awesome! It's about time Argento returned to some baroque, arresting imagery instead of his more recent TV-show-of-the-week looking giallos.

All this news does sound promising, but any film that doesn't receive enough financial help runs the risk of horribly rendered CG which makes me a little nervous about these scenes that appear to call for it. If Argento is smart he'll stick to using only practical effects and do it the right way.

I hope that he gets the funding that he needs to pull this off otherwise I'm with KillerCannabis. CG effects often look fake even with some big budgets so I hope that they are used sparingly. In any case, I can't wait for this.

KillerCannabis, you took the words right out of my mouth. CGI has no place on horror films, least of all an Argento film. If they're really going for an old-school, baroque look for this film, as has been reported, any use of CGI will kill it.

No, no, no! It'll be the year after. This is getting ridiculous, by the time they're actually ready to make this damn thing the horror boom will be over and the financer's will back out. Please, Noooooooo!

I am disappointed that they postponed shooting, but hearing that Asia will be in it gives me some hope (even though the previous collaborations have been a mixed bag ...) Her name will at least get Dario some more money, I should think ...
