With "next November" they obviously mean this November. It's this thing that goes wrong in most translations.
We have waited years for this to happen so another couple of months won't hurt us.
As long as the old man doesn't kick the bucket in the meantime ...Just kidding....sort of.....but it could happen :nervous: .
Who do you think would finish the job?Stivaletti?

    Sorry.......got carried away ;)

Anyway I sure hope Dario makes enough money in the States with the MoH series to have a large budget for this.
I sincerely hope this will be a big thing and they will show it in cinemas here in Holland.Normally that never happens and we have to wait for the DVD.Could be a loooong wait then :(
If they just put "With Asia Argento, star of George Romero's Land of the Dead" on it,it might work?

How long will it take them to finish this?Eight months?A year?
So probably in the cinemas in 2008 and on DVD in 2009.
Then in a trilogy box and after that a Special Director's Cut with inserted CGI and after that an Ultimate Trilogy 6 DVD Box with a commentary by Fulci's ghost about how he always loved watching Argento's work ;)

    Sorry guys...must be the heat...my brain's evaporating rapidly :D

Here's the answer to my own question:
I think it's still cool but three months sound like a really short amount of time.I hope it'll turn out alright.

Don't think so.With all the CGI that might be involved I guess post production will take some time.

Three months is very little time. I dunno. And I am so against the CGI...
Part of the atmosphere on Suspiria and Inferno is that the fx are created on the set, while shooting...

Was that you in "Roger Rabbit mode"? ;)

Although I'm against the use of too much much CGI,I don't mind if they use it to enhance scenes (scenery etc.).
I hate when it's too obvious.

Argento's daughter Asia has agreed to be in his upcoming film, The Third Mother, the third part of a series that began with Suspiria (1977) and continued with Inferno (1980). Asia will not portray The Mother of Tears; she will star in the lead role of "Sarah Mandy". Production won't begin until November or sometime after.

Great news about Asia Argento being in the film. It's concerning that they keep postponing it, though. Maybe it's a low priority since Masters of Horror probably pays more money.

Anyway, in one way or another there is more Dario coming out.

There's also Lamberto Bava's Demons 2 and Michele Soavi's The Church (both produced and co-written by Argento)

IMDB has a Mother of Tears site now and here is the plot outline:

"The final installment of Dario Argento's "Three Mothers" trilogy. The film centers on a young American art student, Sarah, who "unwittingly opens an ancient urn that unleashes the demonic power of the world's most powerful witch. As a scourge of suicides plague the city and witches from all over the world converge on Rome to pay homage, Sarah must use all her own psychic powers to stop the 'Mother of Tears' before her evil conquers the world." Casting is currently underway and the film will begin shooting later this year in Rome."

I don't really know what to make of that. I only hope that the film will be as good as the fist two but that outline makes it obvious that there will be CGI involved... * SHUDDER! * It seems that Asia will definitely be involved so that's something positive.

I thought that the original screenplay was scrapped? I guess that's a different script. I'll search for it, thanks.
