Hello, all. My apologies up front if this has already been posted about.

I just learned today upon a random search that the Synapse DVD of DARIO ARGENTO'S WORLD OF HORROR is out of print.
I had no idea. Only I don't imagine it's been out of print for too, too long, as I had no problem ordering it from DeepDiscountDVD in mid-2004.

I checked DiabolikDVD and XploitedCinema, and neither seems to be carrying a PAL/UK release of it. Any of the good folks here happen to know of an alternative means of nabbing this title on DVD? Any rare, but in-print foreign releases of it, or plans for a domestic re-release?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

If you already have it, why would you cry about it being out of print, suggesting that you don't own it?

On a serious note for this...I had World of Horrors awhile back but became poor and had to sell it.If I was to choose purchasing that or An Eye On Horror, the Image documentary, which would be the better buy,I haven't seen Eye on Horror.

No, actually suggesting that I already have a copy, but was trying to purchase one for someone else as a gift... ;)

    It's all good.

Actually, I looked again more closely at XploitedCinema's other Argento titles, and it looks like it's included as a supplement on this foreign release of STENDHAL SYNDROME (which is actually much cheaper than Synapse's domestic release).

I will make an inquiry with them to be sure that the documentary is at least complete and of decent quality.

Looks like the Dutch DVD release. If it is, the quality isn't as good as the Synapse DVD. I own this and although it is watchable, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah it's the Dutch disc.Nice doc. and you get Stendhal as a bonus [IMG]
    Picture isn't that great though.
I read somewhere that it's also included on several other dvds like the UK Sleeples for example (not entirely sure though).
Anyway, stay away from the Dutch Stendhal because it looks like sh*t (almost as bad as the Troma release) but it's a cheap way to own the documentary....

Yes, I know Troma released STENDHAL domestically. You misunderstood me. I meant that buying the Dutch STENDHAL with the documentary on it was actually cheaper than buying the domestic stand-alone documentary from Synapse. Get it now?
Why you got to be hatin' on me all through this thread? ...just kidding. ;)
