It's Dark Night of the Scarecrow not Dark Knight of the Scarecrow.

Nevertheless, I guess we should also expect a re-release of ONE DARK "KNIGHT" with Adam West prominently displayed on the front cover.

Great news! Better late than never. I picked up a bootleg a few years ago and won't hesitate to buy this when it comes out. Hopefully we can get legit releases of some other made for tv horror films from the 70's and 80's like Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, Don't Go To Sleep, Killdozer, Bad Ronald, This House Possessed, Crowhaven Farm, etc.

Awesome news, the first ten minutes are some of the best of modern horror, and there on out there's some good bits of stalk'n slash. Definitely one of the high points of the M4TV horror film.

I can't wait for this one. I saw it on MovieMax years ago. That was a great channel for the blossoming horror fan.

Damn, I just bought a DVD-R of this last month. "Ah, it's a made for TV movie so there's no fucking way they'll be releasing it." :grumble: :grumble:

Well at least there's a Blu-ray release in the pipeline.

Hey, at least those of you who bought DVD-Rs got them mastered from an official VHS. Far from outstanding, but at least decent. Better than those of us who want movies NEVER released on any home video format, and have to get them from someone who recorded them on a 70s era VCR.

Well I always say don't support bootleggers! Oh btw I have the old original Key Video release. I found it a few years ago dirt cheap at a record store.

Shit, I say it more than anyone. I just wanted to see Bad Ronald! The next one I wanna find is The Demon Murder Case, which at least came out early 80s. Hopefully there's a decent boot of it somewhere.

I used to think the same about bootleggers, but as it's getting harder to come across discs I don't already own, I'm starting to realize that hundreds of films will never get a legitimate dvd release and that bootlegs are going to come in handy for films that otherwise would never see the light of day again.

I am stoked that "Scarecrow" is coming out. I've been hearing about it forever and killer scarecrow movies are almost always usually pretty cool.

Why's this an us or them? Since I do own DVD-R's of over the air recordings from 70's beta tapes I certainly don't see it that way. The same people with a DVD-R of Scarecrow could want those same movies as well.

Great news! It'll be a treat to see this again. My video is in real bad shape. :( As for boots, the wait for a legit release can be very frustrating! I need a quick fix, dammit! :D

I'm all over it. Got an DVD-R about a year a go, which actually looks pretty good. Don't Go To Sleep needs to come out soon as well - my DVD-R rip of that is horrible.
