Normally, I don't like these kind of flicks, the ones that have people torturing and killing other people just for the sheer fun of it. I'm more a monster movie fan at heart, but there is a surprising monster aspect to this movie I can embrace totally, which you will see at the end of the trailer, and that alone gets this movie a mention on HORROR DIGITAL.

    TRAILER

    FACEBOOK PAGE

The film follows an outlaw motorcycle gang known as “The Impalers” as they wind down a tri-state rape and murder spree. After a gruesome battle with rival club, “Satan’s Own”, the survivors hole up in a secluded cabin in the North Georgia Mountains. Taking advantage of what seems like easy marks for their depravity, the rough and tough Impalers soon find themselves struggling to survive the flesh-eating killing machine that lives in the forest.

Director James Anthony Bickert’s biker/horror/sexploitation mash-up was shot entirely on Super 16mm film, using practical effects, and limited to technology of the era that the film is set in.

An official release date has yet to be announced, so the most important thing you can do right now is "Like" the movie's Facebook page to stay in the know.

AS DESCRIBED ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE: Grab some popcorn, gas up the jalopy and grab your favorite girl. Big World Pictures presents the retro Bikers vs. Bigfoot feature film DEAR GOD NO! A thrill ride here to save cinema by delivering all the carnival fun of a 1970’s drive-in movie. On the run from bikini clad machine gun fire, a group of outlaw bikers attempt to seek refuge in a mountain cabin only to fall victim to a crazed scientist and his hunchback assistant performing hideous experiments more deranged than the human mind can handle. What is lurking in the woods making escape impossible? Could it be the legendary… BIGFOOT!

"Shawn, thank you for starting the thread and sharing the trailer on http://www.horrordvds.com/.

We have about three more weeks in the sound studio recording the original soundtrack and mastering the final score. DGN! will be hitting the festival and con circuit in Fall 2011.

DGN! is based on 1970's exploitation aesthetics so we never delve into the torture porn subgenre beyond the original Last House on The Left or Death Weekend. The monster plays a big part in the second half of the film. There are many more fun surprises such as Nazis and Mad Science. Just way to much to include in a 2 1/2 minute trailer.

I wanted to make something that played like a lost remastered drive-in film and not a chewed up looking Grindhouse homage. You probably noticed the explosion in the trailer is in front of a Drive-In screen. One aspect I’m very proud of is the 14 naked women with natural breasts. Sadly this 70's staple is missing from cinema today. A body count of 50+ and vintage Harleys doesn't hurt either!

Please thanks everyone for their enthusiasm, this is a labor of love for the genre. And a big thanks for supporting "shot on film"."

I got a feeling this topic is gonna rack up a helluva view count, not to mention a healthy dose of responses. My gore threshold not being as high as most of ya'll, I was thoroughly grossed out by the human and human rape and carnage. Now, the monster stuff, that's a whole other ball game, and I kind of want to see these psycho rapist douche bags get their bloody comeuppance via a very creepy lookin' homicidal Bigfoot.

I'm not hardcore into the whole Facebook thing, but I went straight and "liked" their page immediately. Anything to help get this release speedtracked. This flick just has good time written all over it. My kind of movie, can't wait to check it out.

Interesting, found this in their ABOUT section of their Facebook page: Dear God No! (a.k.a. The Bigfoot Massacre) was shot on Fuji Super 16mm using Arri cameras over 10 days in various North Georgia locations. DGN! is a 70's drive-in throwback exploitation / action / horror hybrid.

Have to ask them why they changed the title.

I don't know - but "Dear God No!" is a much much better title. This looks temptingly interesting.

Here's what they told me about the title change. Yeah, it makes sense: "The Bigfoot Massacre didn't quite fit the fast paced insanity of the film."

I was thinking double-bill with Run! Bitch Run! myself.:)
Bigfoot Massacre does sound dumb, Dear God No! is a much better title IMO.

I like the original posted poster cause you don't see the creature (I'd always liked the big reveals at the end)

About a half hour ago I got a PM on facebook from the director thanking me for posting info about the movie on this website. It was also quite an informative email, which I'd like to post here. I sent a PM back asking if I could. Just waiting for a reply.

Okay, I posted the PM under the poster in the opening post, since it gives info as to where you can see it in the Fall.

Thanks for posting that PM :)

I´m REALLY excited about this movie.
I also LOVE that they shot on Super 16mm instead of going the cheap and ugly digital video route that most low budget movies do today.

I hope they release it on Blu-Ray later this year with all the wonderful 16mm grain intact :)

We need more low budget movies of this kind.

I suggested Shout! Factory, but James Bickert told me he's eyeing Magnet Releasing (BLACK DEATH, RUBBER, HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN) for their eventual DVD distribution. Yeah, Magnet is a good choice seeing as they got HOBO.
