Ugh! I just noticed that these are going to be region B. I'll have to go region-free for Blu ray one of these days.

No reason not to. I held out forever but they are so cheap, you gotta do it.

I was planning on contributing to this campaign but it just started and they want to charge more because 250 people already made pledges. That just doesn't sit well with me.

Come on, Russ... don't be that way. The exchange rate is really good right now, too.

I may join in but since this was the first day and they already want to penalize me it just kind of ticked me off.

What did you end up getting? I've just started looking around a bit the past week or so.

Let me get the model number. It was super cheap and easy to use. Sony.

Shamelessly, selfishly bumping this thread. They are at 129% of the flex goal, at 200% we get Death Laid an Egg. With the exchange rate, it's a no-brainer.

    Marc from Nucleus Films here.

One more pledge and we'll be at 17K... Then only 3K to our next target!

Looks certain that anybody ordering will be geting both Blu-rays discs...

Just noticed this new perk, which can be added on to pre-existing commitments:
Didn't even realize these were on UK DVDs. Tempting, as I don't own any of the previous US releases either. Hard to commit to any DVDs in this day and age though. Especially when Lady Frankenstein is even getting the HD treatment!

I've already picked up the "Grindhouse" level as I didn't have any of their trailer collections and have been meaning to. Will the dollar still be trading favorably against the pound in 18 days?

They've passed £20,000 and will be doing Death Laid and Egg! With 6 days left it's looking good for the next level:
Usually there's a pretty big push at the end and the more successful the pledge drive the bigger the final push. So it's looking good for their extra extras too.

Death Laid an Egg - Exciting news!

After much searching we have located the original negatives - and what appears to be an archive 35mm print containing additional, unseen footage never before released on home video! Exact running time is to be confirmed as we're awaiting a technical report, but we are confident we will be releasing the most complete version of DEATH LAID AN EGG ever seen.

Congratulations Marc! It slowed down there the last few days so I was wondering if that would be it, but it looks like there was a huge swell of support at the end that push you guys well over.

And there's still an option left:

Thanks to everybody who pledged. There are still plenty of people backing this even now, so if you missed out it's still not too late!

But... to anyone interested in another part of the world, Nico Bruinsma of Cult Epics in the US will also be releasing the movie as a 3 disc Blu/ DVD / CD (ltd. to 300)
Pity you have to buy the book as well. I'm not interested in that. But I'm very curious how both releases compare.
