    THIS AMAZING BLU-RAY EDITION CONTAINS:

    - 4 Panel reversible sleeve with original and newly commissioned art work

    - Two-sided fold-out poster with new art work

    - Exclusive collector’s booklet featuring brand new writing on Deep Red by Alan Jones, author of ‘Profondo Argento’

    DISC 1 CONTAINS:

    - Brand new transfer of the Director’s Cut in High Definition (1080p)

    - Optional Dolby 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio/Stereo Italian Audio and Mono/Stereo English* Audio

    SPECIAL FEATURES:

    - Introduction by composer Claudio Simonetti (1080p)

    - Rosso Recollections – Dario’s Deep Genius (1080p)

    - Lady in Red: Daria Nicolodi remembers Profondo Rosso (1080p)

    - Music to Murder For! Claudio Simonetti on Deep Red (1080p)

    - Original US Trailer (1080p) (TBC)

    - Original International Trailer (1080p) (TBC)

    DISC 2 CONTAINS:

    - Brand new transfer of the International Theatrical Cut in High Definition (1080p)

    SPECIAL FEATURES:

    - A Tour of the Profondo Rosso (Deep Red) shop in Rome with long time Argento collaborator Luigi Cozzi (1080p)

*The English Audio track on the Director’s Cut has some portions of English audio missing. This was either never recorded or has been lost. The English audio has been painstakingly assembled from various audio sources and represents the most complete audio available in a Mono/Stereo audio mix.

The DVD Edition contains exactly the same versions of the film and extras but of course these are not in HD.

The BD is all-region and the DVD is region free.

Deep Red will be released on Blu-ray and DVD by Arrow Video late November/early Dec 2010.

Having just viewed and being quite impressed with Arrow's Inferno BD last night, I will definitely be buying Deep Red as well.

I am very interested in this release as well as Inferno - however, Blue Underground has announced both on blu, and I hate double dipping. I'm tempted, but I'll try to be patient and see how the reviews compare.

I'm going to wait for the blue underground version. While have arrows Inferno blu ray which I love. I just don't like the artwork on this packaging. I've seen much more impressive posters for Deep Red then those chosen. I'll just wait then compare which one I want. I'm not triple dipping on this just can't do it.

the artwork looks beautiful and i'll buying this the instant it comes out but...

is it going to be uncut or not (since the UK has an animal cruelty law => the lizard scene could be cut)?

Uncut mate :D Supposedly the lizard scene was staged and the pin was a prop so it's still intact. I can't wait to get this either!

I've been happy with the products as of late from Arrow. I'll definitely get this. They seem to be beating Blue Underground, so money I would have given to Blue Underground goes to Arrow.

    This set looks awesome.

This does look good, but I think I will wait to see reviews comparing this to BU's release. However, I do like the artwork and and all of the special features.

    What are you saying...

You have 4 covers to chose from, including the 2 original posters.

I am stoked about this release and would love to have it, but my wife spazzes if I pay extra to import anything that will be available locally in the foreseeable futute so I guess I'll have to wait for the BU release.

I can't believe they couldn't come up with a red case instead of a blue one, it looks bad IMHO.

Really? This is your biggest complaint?

I think it looks great. I haven't done any Blu-Ray importing. How much does something like this run? And they will play in a standard US Blu-Ray player?

There is no price on the Amazon.co.uk web site but assuming the price will be the same as Inferno and you order from them you can probably expect to pay ~$25 with shipping to the US. As far as compatibility goes you should be fine if it's region free, the only thing you might have to worry about are the extras not playing if they're in SD because if they are then they will be in PAL format.

If you see the first post, all extras will be in 1080p.

But I didn't complain, it clearly reads "I can't believe they didn't come up...". I find it hard that no one involved in the production would have though it would be cool to have a red package...

    Edit: wait...

HD-DVD was red, maybe that's why.

You also said it looked bad just because of that reason. Bit over the top don't you think?
