    Hey guys,

I haven't been here in eons but looking forward to getting back into all things horror.

Question...I have been scouring the internet trying to figure this out and opinions seem to be mixed.

Is there a DEFINITIVE version of both Creepshow and Creepshow 2 on Bluray?

    Buck,

Thanks man, really appreciate the links. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see anything about any bonus features on either of those releases. Are there any that you know of?

I love the first Creepshow but I'm perfectly fine with the domestic US blu ray for the movie itself. I have the older UK DVD which has all the extras I need. The feature length doc is essential. Even if all of these bits went onto a special edition blu ray in the future I have doubts that they'd be included in HD.

Is the 88 Films release of 2 better than the Japanese release?

Not sure. The 88 films blu-ray came out two weeks ago and is region B locked. I can vouch for the Happinet release which is region A.

Thanks man. Not a bad review, although I disagree with the reviewer that The Raft is the strongest of the three stories :) But that's neither here nor there. The 88 Films release does seem to be the one to get.

No The Raft IS the strongest segment. Don't be silly.

I completely misread Joker's post. Bad day today and I haven't slept well lately. The Raft is the best story in the film. The wooden indian story has some good effects, but that's about it. The Hitchhiker just hasn't aged well imo.

Believe it or not, I think the Hitchhiker resonates more with me than the other stories in Creepshow 2. Aging aside, it appeals to me because of how closely it resembles dreams I've had. I've had a lot of dreams about being lost at night, not being able to get home, being pursued by something/someone, etc. The Hitchhiker kind of echoes that feeling of being alone and targeted with no one else around. At least for me. I know it's weird, but that's also what attracted me to 1985's After Hours.

How can I order from Second Sight? I found the Creepshow release on Amazon UK but they won't ship it to the US. I went on the Second Sight website and searched for Creepshow and it found no results. Kind of stumped here.

It's currently being sold on Amazon through a third party that doesn't want to ship internationally. It's possible that it's OOP. I only use Amazon for my imports, does anyone else recommend any other sites for U.K. orders?

Yeah, that's the issue I'm having. Wouldn't it still be on Second Sight's website catalog even if it was OOP?

I would assume so. I am surprised it isn't there. I just checked and haven't been able to find a place that is selling it (even eBay). I'd keep checking Amazon.uk's third party sellers. If it's hard to come by, people will be unloading it.

I did check eBay and that seems to be a dead end at the moment. I thought for sure there would be some other website that sells R2 discs.
