Read this (it's only speculation though):

Enough choice for R2 but I guess you'd like one in R1,right?

I don't know about re-buying these two movies. I thoroughly enjoyed Demons 2. But unless that disc has a featurette I won't get it.

If the transfers are big improvements, I'll rebuy every one of these. If they're the same, even with new extras, I'll pass.

It'd be REALLY nice if they did a limited release as they did in Japan: Demons 1 and 2, Demons Mask Replica, 2 writing pads with title font, Metropol Ticket Replica...
    amazing!
Mine is still sealed. The DVD's are non anamorphic but those extras alone were worth the $100 price tag.
I've been wanting to buy another over at Amazon.jp, but all the private sellers info are not in English.

I never picked either movie up on dvd, but this seems like the right time.

I saw that limited package once in New York City. Couldn't pick it up at the time, but damn was that sweet!

I'm digging the coverart for the second one. Very reminiscent of the old VHS. I remember being a youngster and always seeing that box at my local video stores. But, alas, I'll wait for some reviews to pop up first.

Oh my god, those new covers are horrendous. Glad I own the previous releases. :D

I whole-heartedly agree. These are almost as bad as the new Return of the Living Dead cover.

I don't mind the covers, what's wrong with them? At least all of those pics were on the original VHS/DVD art from AB.

It's a little too cluttered I think. They could do without the demon faces in the background, that'd make it much more appealing.

Forgive me if someone has already covered this, but do these reissues have any extras ?

The demon faces in the backgrounds are unnecessary, the font for "Dario Argento Presents" and "A Film By Lamberto Bava" makes the covers look cheap.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the demon on the cover for Demons actually from Demons 2?

Oh jeez. You buy things for cover art? Really?

No. I'm just saying that I already own the previous releases of Demons and Demons 2, and I think the covers for those are better.

I wish they made some really fun collectibles to go with. I'll get zemm, I can't wait to see what the remastered versions will look like.

Some nice titles but the ones I'm interested in are already in my collection.

Those all appear to be Anchor Bay re-releases, but what is Cannibals? I own most of those titles, but the ones that say "special edition rerelease", I wonder if they have added stuff.

Yeah, and what is a "Special Edition Rerelease"?
I was under the imression that all BU's AB rereleases were direct ports.
Are these so called special editions going to be different?
