Duel is my personal favorite, followed by The Hills Have Eyes and The Hitcher.

The Hills Have Eyes. Followed closely by Duel and The Car. I must admit that Rattlers is a guilty pleasure as well.

Been looking for a copy of White of the Eye.

I bought the Something Weird dvd of Rattlers during the June 20% off sale at Deep Discount. Fun movie indeed!

The copy I have is off one of those Mill Creek collections. How does that SWV transfer look?

I had to go with Gargoyles too. Movie freaked me out when I was a kid.

I went with The Hills Have Eyes - and that is about all I have to say.

It's good for Something Weird standards if you've seen some of their other dvds. By no means pristine. I got it on sale for about $5.00.

Thanks for the info. I may pick that up. I've been on a SWV kick lately.

I almost forgot to mention that the Boris Karloff film The Snake People is also on the Rattlers dvd. Not a good film mind you, but an entire feature film added on among the other usual Something Weird extras is an added plus.

    My thoughts exactly.

Roadgames is surprisingly good as well.

I picked Other by accident as I didn't realize this was only including films from the 70s and 80s. Out of that list though it would probably be Duel or Hills Have Eyes, more leaning towards Duel though as I like the remake of Hills better.

I look at The Hitcher, and already voted for it in another thread/poll, as less of a "desert" horror and more of a road-trip horror. And it rained during the movie. I'm pretty sure it never rained in Dust Devil (1992).

I voted for The Hills Have Eyes. (Not the shitty remake.) It's much more of a desert movie than The Hitcher. Then, Dust Devil. Even if The Hitcher is better.
