Does anyone know why the Director, Rod Schmidt, did nothing for four years after this film? He did such a fine job - there must be a story there...
Not only have I seen it once, I've seen it several times. I really enjoy it, and don't fully understand why you don't.
I'd prefer if Schmidt waited even four more years and made another film as entertaining as "Wrong Turn" - or even better - than if he followed his great debut with two or three awful films, as so many directors have, unfortunately, done... (in horror and elsewhere...) But he is shooting a new film, in fact. Apparently, a film based on the old "alphabet murders". Hopefully, one that actually stays true to the facts, unlike something like, say, Fincher's Zodiac or all of Bay's "based on a true story" remakes...
