Early Rave for WRONG TURN

    Does anyone know why the Director, Rod Schmidt, did nothing for four years after this film? He did such a fine job - there must be a story there...

    Have u actually seen wrong turn? i wouldn't do anything for 4 years either.

    I really liked Wrong Turn- nothing original about it but a fun horror flick-

    Not only have I seen it once, I've seen it several times. I really enjoy it, and don't fully understand why you don't. ;)

    Yeah I think it's one of the best, and most fun horror movies made in the last few years.

    I'd prefer if Schmidt waited even four more years and made another film as entertaining as "Wrong Turn" - or even better - than if he followed his great debut with two or three awful films, as so many directors have, unfortunately, done... (in horror and elsewhere...)

    But he is shooting a new film, in fact. Apparently, a film based on the old "alphabet murders". Hopefully, one that actually stays true to the facts, unlike something like, say, Fincher's Zodiac or all of Bay's "based on a true story" remakes...
