Dude that movie sucks glad I only paid $13 for that turd! That's the worse movie I have ever seen Kata. I thought the Scooby Doo movie had bad CGI. D.B.S has the worse CGI ever IMO. They made the Assylum shit bandwagon look good. Plus I don't even dislike rappers but LL Cool J ruiend the movie. Then when the credits finally rolled we get some stupid rap song. Yp dawg killer shark and shiiat on the diggaitttty AIIIGHTA!!!

Sorry, but I can't let DBS be called lower than Asylum, I just can't.
DBS is basicly a Roger Corman flick with an a-list budget, grab some popcorn and have fun. Yeah the CGI dated way quick on this, but it has a charm in it silliness you won't find in any Asylum film, at least none I've seen. The effects aren't even close to Scooby Doo bad, be realistic man!
Plus, it's people getting eaten by sharks, what did you expect?

It's just as limited as the "Limited" Book of the Dead DVD.

Probably because they'll eventually release it sans the DVD with the extras. And I'm guessing the reason for it just being a DVD is that the bulk of the extras were probably only made for standard def to begin with so putting them on a blu-ray would be kind of pointless. Grant it the deleted footage and the trailers could possibly be shown at 1080p, but do you really need that stuff in high definition?

My thoughts exactly. Didn't know they wouldn't be including both aspect ratios. That's even worse.

For those of you who haven't bought this yet but are planning to, you will want to read this (and find it asap). Turns out it really is limited!

I mentioned it in another thread but anyone in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois should check out their local Meijer store. They have the limited edition for 12.99. I've been in three in the last week and they have all had it.

I picked up the 2-disc limited edition on Monday from the Best Buy in Milford, MA for $9.99. I didn't check to see if the other four or so copies were the limited edition as well but, considering that I just plucked one from the middle, there's a good chance that they had more. If you live in the area, you may want to check there.

Meyer had it and I got the last one. Best Buy was down the road more so I just bought it at Meyer. Normally I'm not that lazy but I've lost a lot of faith in Best Buy and I'm not going to roll the dice.

I don't know why everyone's so surprised that Anchor Bay "actually meant limited". Anchor Bay has always meant "limited" when they released Limited Editions. They've normally been numbered, and I can't think of many more companies that have had more shit go OOP than Anchor Bay. Sure this went quickly, but I'm certainly not surprised that something from ANCHOR BAY was very limited. Pretty common practice for them. They're like fucking Disney when it comes to that shit.
