Yeah, those episodes was pretty boring, but it gets MUCH better after that.
The final 3-4 episodes are awesome :)

Alrighty then, just watched the first episode of season 2, and it was fucking awesome!
One of the better episodes, so far.
I like the new location, and I hope they stay there for a while.
It's also great that we get to know a bit of Ash backstory.

The opening blew me away with lots of hilarious gore and action, and the end delivered as well.
It looks like the budget is bigger this time, since the superb gore FX seems to be all practical now.
The CGI was only used for the visual FX, which also looked better.

The camerawork was top notch, and properly over the top crazy.

I can't wait for the next episode.

    I LOVE THIS SHOW!!

Just watched episode 2. Apparently I didn't have to wait till after airtime as the episodes get loaded into the Starz Amazon App earlier on Sunday. Good to know for future reference. As for the episode itself, it was pretty good. I probably enjoyed it more than the season premiere, but still feel like things are a slight step down from the first season. There is a major set piece midway through the episode that has people split online. I will give it points for outrageousness, but it's really not my style of humor. Hopefully the season doesn't go further down this route in the coming episodes.

There's one disgusting gag during the scene at the morgue, that made me laugh just as hard as when I saw Evil Dead 2 and Jackson's Braindead for the first time.
Yes, it's gross, but I loved the hilarious insanity :D

Ash's dad is one hell of an wonderful asshole.
Talk about like father, like son :D

So far, I think season 2 has opened stronger than the first one.
And the practical FX is getting better and better :)

It's one of the most wrong things I've seen in a while, but I nearly had a heart attack from laughing. Fantastic, great episode just don't eat while watching it!

    That's a good warning!
I was eating a pizza, then the scene went overboard with the gross factor.
And my appetite crashed and burned, for a while :D

Another good episode. I found the gag to be hilarious, but I hope this type of humor is only used occasionally and doesn't become a continuing theme. I dont think the series will go that way.

Episode 3 was easily the best of the season for me. Loved Ted Raimi and the possessed car made for a different kind of action sequence. I was having a good time with it and then the ending pushed it over the edge into one of the best episodes of the entire series thus far.

    Yeah, loved the car scenes!
It was like Christine, on crack! :D
The gore FX, when the teen got the spinning tire on his face, looked amazing.

And yes, that ending, pretty unexpected, at least for me :D

Just watched episode 4 and I can't help but feeel like it's back to par for season 2 after the unexpected heights of last week's episode. It wasn't bad, there is plenty good (Ted Raimi & Campbell, the demolition derby) but also plenty mediocre (the bizarre hallucination sequence, the Kelly/Ruby subplot). So even if I'm not as in love with this season as I was last, at least things are moving fast this time around. I don't expect we'll get any 3 episode arcs with the same baddie like we did in season 1's weakest episodes (3-5). I like how this episode saw each main character as the star of their own subplot and we got another twist near the end, I can honestly say I have no idea where the rest of the season will be going.

Episode 5 was a step up for this season for me. Not on the same level as episode 3, but my second fav of the season thus far. Liked the claustrophobic setting and the establishing of the new big bad for the 2nd half of the season. Excited to see where they go with it.

A familiar face returns from the grave, in this weeks episode :)

Btw, I saw on IMDB that there will be a third season! Sweet!

I'm really liking how things are going now that a more interesting big bad has been introduced for the season. Episode 6 was another winner, maintaining the quality of the previous episode while telling a different kind of bottle story.

Not a lot of back and forth here on the board this season. Most people waiting to watch it all at once on Blu? If so it makes sense, that's what I did with season one.

Episode 7 was pretty good. A nice change of pace from the usual episode, but it did go on a little too long. It wants to flip Ash's world upside down with a big revelation, but we know from the beginning that what Ash is "learning" in this episode isn't real. Still a fun idea and based on the teaser of where they are going next week I think this setup was necessary for an awesome confrontation between our main characters.

I'm waiting for the season to end before jumping in. I had a better time watching Season 1 all together than I did on a week by week basis.

Trust me I want to watch the season RIGHT NOW but I'm being patient.
