Vote for the best eye gouging, stabbing etc.
Eye slurpping in Nekromantik!
The medication shot to the eye in Audition.
The eye being gouged out with a teaspoon in Headless Eyes. Classic!
Yeah but that movie was GOD AWFUL! :eek1:
I voted for the infamous scene in ZOMBIE.
Any of the ones in THE BEYOND
--Yeah but that movie was GOD AWFUL!--
Oh my friend, come over to the dark side. Headless Eyes is a great film - so funny you'll wet yourself.
Anyway, this ain't a thread about "great" movies, is it?
Why am I listening to you anyway, you think The Omen is good!

You hate The Omen but you like Headless Eyes?
:eek2: :eek2::eek1: :eek1:
I voted for Opera. Besides my opinion already being biased because I love the film, I find those little needles to have a certain sense of unique style to them. I love wearing my Opera shirt and people asking, "What the hell is wrong with her eyes?"
Had to go with Zombie. A classic...
Definitely Prince's mom from Purple Rain getting her eye peirced in ZOMBIE.
Fulci should pretty much own the trademark for eye gouging. There is no man who does it better, and my favorite is the spider scene from THE BEYOND. Classic.

Oh yeah! I'd watch Headless Eyes ten times more than I'd ever watch The Omen. It's way more fun. But I was just jabbing at you, knowing you're such a big Omen fan and all. I just don't enjoy it.
Dwatts it is indeed funny to like Headless Eyes and not to like The Omen - it's like you prefer Class Of 84 from Clockwork Orange!
Clockwork orange... here's my pick for eye torment!
And for eye gouging... had to chose Once Upon A time In Mexico. See the film and you'll find out why...
Hmmm also forgot "corkscrew-in-the-eye" from Sleepwalkers.
Pretty neat scene actually.
Heh heh. I have not seen Class of 84 for ages, anywhere I can get a decent DVD of that?
It's all about ENTERTAINMENT and not COMPETENCE or good film making. Divorce the two, and Headless Eyes eats The Omen for dinner, imho. But, I am aware most everyone else disagrees.
Heh heh here too. Seriously, I'll buy Class of 84 DVD the second it's out!
Argento's Opera, followed by Halloween II (1981) and Dead & Buried.
Wow, that eyeball scene in May--very uncomfortable and this reminder made me wanna rewatch the film. Been too long.
