The original TCM. I suppose it's worth saying again: Best horror film ever ;)

"Deliverance", both in its original form and as the movie, is an allegoric tale rather than a hillbilly slasher. It does not belong among those - besides, it sets a separate class of its own.

I don't feel like thinking up another movie so I'll choose one from the list: Rituals
followed closely by Wrong Turn and The Hills Have Eyes.

I chose TCM...even before seeing the choices I knew I would pick TCM. Another possible choice (not included) would be Mother's Day.

By the way, including the Chainsaw sequels - at least the second and third entries - would have been a far superior choice to including the 2003 Bay drivel.

I went with The Hills Have Eyes.

Gosh, it took me nearly 5 minutes to decide my choice between that and TCM. So difficult.

As soon as you added TCM to the list. The competition was over.

I guess once again we'll have to be interested in seeing which movies come in second, etc.

Even though I love TCM to bits, I had to choose The Hills Have Eyes. Poppa Jupe!

Well, if Cabin Fever is listed then yes, yes it is.

  20. I voted for Texas Chainsaw Massacre but Deliverance and Hills Have Eyes were both a close second.
