On the heels of a potential GREMLINS 3 DTV annoucement, let's rank which of the wee monster movie series you enjoy the most. Will it be those rolling little hairballs, those toilet dwellers, or those coveted Christmas gifts?

Gotta go with Gremlins. Love those guys. The fact that they commit all this carnage on Christmas earns them more points. Have they no regard for Our Lord's birth? No.

And hey, I'll give them a pass on 2/3 of their "rules" not really making much sense (it's not like they came up with them):

    1. Don't feed them after midnight. Huh? What consitutes after midnight? Isn't everything after midnight?

    2. Don't expose them to water. Snow's fine, though, folks! So long as it never ever melts, not even a little bit. Not even slush.

The original is a great film and holds up perfectly well. It's been a while since I saw the sequel.

Gotta go with Gremlins. I've seen it so many times and love it every time I see it. The sequel was pretty damn fun as well.

As much as I love all the series, Gremlins, Critters and It's Alive did not have a chapter that took place at a college, so GHOULIES wins by default.

Gremlins for me! Those two films were such a big part of my childhood.

I enjoy all of these, but Gremlins is my favorite by far.

Gremlins easily despite the rules not making sense like Workshed pointed out.

It's always midnight somewhere, and when is it cool to feed them? After 6am, 9am, noon. Maybe they're like my cell phone that adjusts to time zones as it travels.:D

I'll forgive the snow thing as it looked pretty freakin' cold so I doubt any melted on them.:)

I loved both flicks but have an un-easy feeling about the 3rd. I'll still give it a try but am expecting bad things from the get.

Because water will turn them into mutated freaks, Gremlins could never pop out of a toilet. That alone makes Ghoulies the far better choice.

It's Alive. Joe Dante can suck it.

As far as I remember, no character in either of The Wicker Man's ever wore suspenders. The green Ghoulie in the first film sure did. Don't get me started on the landmark "death by plunger" segment from the iconic third film. Other films just can't compare...

The fun house is such an awesome setting too (Ghoulies II). It hasn't been done for a while, another horror film should use such a setting.

Gremlins and its sequal were both great movies, but I had to go with It's Alive. Something about killer babies really turns my crank. Roger Cormans Unborn is also a great killer baby movie, if anyone else can think of any other good killer baby movies I'd love to hear about it. I think there is another film with Barbara Eden (from I Dream of Jennie) but I cant remember what its called. Anyway, I'm way intrested in exporling this genre (maybe that not the right word...do 5 films really consitute a genre?) and if you guys could help me out with some titles I'd be much obliged.
