Cult classics can be really good or really bad. and you love them anyway. so lets see which is the favorite!!
Other: Spider Baby. This is again too broad and generic for a poll regardless of what your definition of a cult classic is. There are literally thousands of viable contenders that get lost in the shuffle.
I'm just voting for one off the list: Near Dark Which works well since it's actually one of my favourites.
I went with Return of the Living Dead being number 1 followed by Night of the Creeps. For the other option I would have had a few. Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Troll 1 Troll 2 and They Live.
other: Blood Feast. Let's see: Memorable score. (Love the kettledrums of doom!) Mal Arnold's poor man's Lugosi accent. Connie Mason's dreadful performance. Primitive gore. (The tongue scene still manages to gross me out.) It's a gore pioneer.
Carnival of Souls - for personal reasons, will always be my favorite cult classic film of all time. It's an incredibly powerful film about feeling isolated from the rest of the world. It's also one of the most atmospheric films in the history of cinema. If atmosphere is important to you, this one would rank high on anyone's best horror films list.
On this list, either Return of the Living Dead or Freaks, but my favorite (broadly defined) "cult" film would be the original Death Race 2000.
