Thanks for the review... maybe I'll see it after all... there is no place around here to rent it (I don't think) so maybe I will buy it.

Here here, Mortis! Phenomena is my fav as well - even if I find myself popping in the truncated version *Creepers* a hell of a lot more - the 82 min. cut moves at a much swifter pace.

    Others-

    Tenebre
    Opera
    Cannibal Holocaust
    Zombie
    Demons
Cut & Run (horror, action-gore mish-mash, who cares)
House on the Edge of the Park
    Buried Alive
    Stage Fright
    Burial Ground

    And the inimitable PIECES!!!!

    Tenebre
    DellaMorte DellaMore
    Buio Omega
    Black Sunday
    Tombs of the Blind Dead
Andy Warhol's Frankenstein (well, half Euro)
    Don't Torture a Duckling

And more to follow as I rent/buy more movies

I forgot that on my Zombi 3 DVD there is a trailer for Beyond the Darkness. I watched it and it looks great! Now I know I'll have to pick it up!!! :D

My favorite without a doubt is my Beyond Tin. It is filled with extras and the movie itself is gorgeous! :eek1: I love ALL the extras on this release. A fine job from Grindhouse Releasing and AB. :D We're all still waiting on that Cannibal Holocaust SE Grindhouse...so how 'bout it?! :D

I'm just beginning to appreciate Gialo and Euro-Horror in general. I haven't seen too many of these intriguing films just yet, but those I have seen are most memorable. They are:

"What Have You Done To Solange?"
    "Seven Blood Stained Orchids"
    "Suspiria"
    "Torso"
    "Beyond The Darkness"
    "Tenebre"
    "Bird With The Crystal Plumage"

All of the above are excellent and I would have a hard time choosing which one to be a favorite currently. :p

Well, now I have to say I have two favorites and I don't like one more than the other. They are "Zombie" and "Deep Red"-- my two all-time favorite Euro horror films. They are both great and Deep Red, in my opinion, is so clever that it's ridiculous! Both excellent movies, and if you haven't seen them already you MUST SEE THEM ASAP!!! lol :D

My buddy rented Creepers a long time ago from some old video rental place. I was so happy to find out it was released on DVD as Phenomena.

Dude, I'm really interested in VIY now. I found out there's a R1 DVD, and read some stuff on it today. Then later I mentioned it to my girlfriend (who's Russian) and she told me it was scary as fuck, but good. So yeah, I think it'll be one of my next purchases.

Dude, it rocks! The visuals are on par with Haxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages, and its just so damn unnerving. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

"Viy" is a great movie but "scary as fuck" doesn't really describe it. It has an unsetteling atmosphere and is also quite funny but it really isn't all that frightning. I only mention this so you don't get disappointed when you finally watch it. I'd like to hear your take on it, though.
