The Sixth Sense is spectacular on first viewing- and still solid after but obviously less so when the "surprise" is already known. But my vote for today has to go to The Orphanage - that movie creeped me out and holds up well.

Went with The Sixth Sense. That movie freaked the hell out of me in the theaters. The Conjuring deals with demons, not ghosts. The Others is also exceptional, but it doesn't hold up to me as well as The Sixth Sense in terms of repeat viewings.

I would vote 'other' for 'The Changeling' as well. Just rewatched it this weekend! I love GCS.

I'd pick Legend of Hell House if it was on the list.

I wouldn't pick them, but the Paranormal Activity films ought to be on there. I was gonna go Poltergeist, but went with I like too many. Love the genre.

    "I see dead people"

Revisiting GHOSTBUSTERS as an adult, I didn't find it near as funny. Venkman is a dick.

Had to go with Poltergeist, it's a childhood favorite.

I almost voted for The Conjuring though... I still love that movie.
