I like Darjeeling more, but you can't go wrong with either.

Not so new. I had my first account with horrordvds.com 10 years ago, but I signed up for a new one because I lost the password.

And I'd say Insidious should make it up here, not because it was the best, but because there were ghosts and it was at LEAST better than the Conjuring.

I went with Ghostbusters but there are a lot of great movies on the list.

I came close to voting for Stir of Echoes. I used to watch that one all the time but hadn't watched it in years. This year I gave it a re-watch and it really holds up. In a way it was better because I had forgotten a lot of the important moments over the years. It was almost like seeing it again for the first time.

I was bored with the original as well. I nearly fell asleep watching the frickin' trailer.

I need to rewatch the original but, all the Hysterical Women Will Make You Believe in Ghosts, Whether You Like It or Not cliches are present and accounted for.

My favourite is missing from the list, The Changeling. From the list, I'll go with Poltergeist. Ghostbusters is probably my real favourite, but since the rest are horror films it doesn't really belong IMO.

I picked my real favorite, and that's Poltergeist, which is my favorite movie of all time. Period.
