Well, opinions will obviously vary but the DEEP RED soundtrack (PROFONDO ROSSO) was a HUGE hit in Italy, stayed in the charts for a long time and helped Goblin become a true name brand in the film market.Argento originally wanted DEEP PURPLE to score the film but heard an earlier version of Goblin's lineup (CHERRY 5) and tapped them after Purple proved unavailable.Personally I think the score is very memorable and has a great base line.

I'm getting closer and closer to being able to vote on this poll....I've seriously gotten into the genre lately and am having a blast checking these movies out.
So far from the list I've seen: Deep Red, What Have You Done To Solange?, Cat O' Nine Tails, Opera, The Bird With The Crystal Plumage, Don't Torture A Duckling, Black Belly of the Tarantula, Who Saw Her Die?, and The Case of the Bloody Iris.

Will vote when I've seen a few more.

Went with Deep Red with Crystal Plumage, Tenebre, Blood and Black Lace and Lizard in Woman's Skin right behind.

Tenebre would be my first choice from the list. Some of my other favorites are All the Colors of the Dark, Lizard in a Woman's Skin, and Case of the Scorpion's Tail.

Yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh, I don't really care for giallo as a format with the exception of Argento's and Bava's excellent horror films.
