Evil Dead Trilogy, Shaun Of The Dead, Return Of The Living Dead 1 and 2.
Where the heck is Monster Squad? That gets my top vote, but since it's not on the list I vot Saturday the 14th. Haven't seen that movie since I was 9 or 10.
I voted for Evil Dead even though I don't see how it's a comedy.
But also The Young Frankenstein is classic!
In recent years I guess I'd go with SHAUN OF THE DEAD,but two of my favorites NOT on the list are THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES and THEATER OF BLOOD,two early 70's gems from the great Vincent Price.
Hmm, I just couldn't vote in this one, but would have chosen:
There's Nothing Out There
or even Serial Mom
I have to go with Street Trash. The infamous "keep-away" scene, the homeless guy shopping at the grocery store, and the waiter who can't shut up always crack me up.
Evil Dead 2
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, followed by Return Of The Living Dead. Thought the Scary Movie franchise sucked, ditto Shriek If You Know...or whatever it's called.
Student Bodies. While I enjoy many films on the poll list...that's a film that I used to watch over and over again. Paramount better get off their asses and release it to DVD. Barebones, I don't care...just release it already!!!
I never thought that evild dead 1 was a horror comedy, but the second is... Love the evil dead and shaun of the dead. But Return of the living dead is the classic.
Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again
I wish someone would put it out on DVD.
Scream Bloody Murder (2003)
Army of Darkness
Dead & Breakfast
Bride of Chucky
Slumber Party Massacre
Vampire in Brooklyn
The Private Eyes
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Killer Klowns From Outer Space
Dracula: Dead & Loving It
Elvira: Misteress of the Dark
The Monster Squad (I think it qualifies)
Couldn't agree more, Katatonia...........just watched my awful copy of an old vhs rental about 2 weeks ago........my eyes still hurt!
Get on it, Paramount!!
Return of the Living Dead and An American Werewolf in London are my 2nd and 3rd
Whoa, someone else besides me actually likes it?!?
El Dia De La Bestia
Return Of The Living Dead
Shaun Of The Dead
Good one! I didn't even think of that one.
And for those wondering, the film's English title is Day of the Beast.
