With his latest storming his native UK and newly announced for DVD Stateside, Neil Marshall's already started on a sizable horror repertoire since he burst onto the scene with DOG SOLDIERS in 2002. Of his three horror films so far, which is your favorite?

Ouch - going to have to get back to you on this. I'd have said Descent, but I think it's over-rated and will run away with this poll. Dog Soldiers is easily forgotten, but is terific. Not seen Doomsday yet.... but...

Descent still holds up for me so I can't see calling it over-rated at all. Over-praised? Maybe.
I do love all 3, but Descent gets my vote just for the terror it brought when I first saw it. It still gets a jump or 2 from me after numerous views, so that's a flick that holds up well!

Doomsday may become my new fav after a few more views based on fun.

The Descent scared the crap out of me and is pretty strong stuff. I saw it about two years ago before it was out in the US and loved it, then bought the DVD. I had it playing at my old apartment when some friends came by and they got sucked in and enjoyed the hell out of it. Pretty interesting considering they hadn't even heard of it at that point.

So yeah, over-praised by people like us (maybe), but pretty low-key on the whole.

I rented Dog Soldiers without having ever heard of it and loved it, but I think The Descent is the better film. Doomsday was fun, but the sloppy editing and other shortcomings still make it a step down for Marshall. Two really good flicks and one decent one still keeps him up there in my books.

Descent for me. Great horror film.

Dog Soldiers is good, but for me gets worse with repeated viewings. And I hated Doomsday because it was just snippets of films like The Road Warrior and Cannibal Apocalypse and 28 Days Later just tossed in a blender with hip music. Mash-ups can be fun, but only if they're under 3 minutes...

The Descent seriously kicked my ass! I saw that film at a premier way, way, way before it got released in most parts of the world, and I had no idea what to expect. Had never heard of it before or Marshall. And it was a wild experience. The entire theater was screaming their lungs out. One of my favorite movie-going-experiences ever!

Looooved Doomsday, too. Have to watch Dog Soldiers again soon.

Dog Soldiers gets the nod, though Doomsday is alot of fun too. The Descent is just worthless to me.

Gotta go with Dog Soldiers over Descent.
    Haven't seen Doomsday though...

I really was surprised by Descent and liked it a lot. I was actually a bit disappointed by Dog Soldiers and just thought it was okay. I actually have not seen Doomsday though

I liked them all, but my vote would definitely be for Doomsday, since it was the most fun to watch!

I loved The Descent and Doomsday, but I've got a thing for werewolf movies. I had to go with Dog Soldiers. I had never heard of it till it came on the SciFi channel, I was expecting yet another crappy made for TV movie, but this one blew me away.

The Descent, one of the best horror movies in the last 10 years in my opinion. Doomsday I enjoyed quite a bit as well, one of the most fun times I've had at the theater in a while. Dog Soldiers was good, but doesn't compare to the other two, at least for re-watch ability.

The Descent is good but very overrated. I haven't seen Doomsday but I don't have to. Why? Because Dog Soldiers kicks all kinds of ass.

I went with Dog Soldiers. The Decent a close second for me.
